Alien invasion
>>80449249
Didn't mean anything
Just some pretentious hollywood bullshit that studio execs circle jerked out in a board meeting
I've read watchmen many times and also enjoyed the movie immensely.
>comic books for children at a grade 5 reading level
SAD
It wasnt good because there wasnt a giant alien monster in the end
Space..
The final frontier
It's a big place.
>>80449113
Is there any real proof that space even exists?
None of this "moon-landing" nonsense but real definitive proof.
All seems like a hoax designed by the powers that be to keep man from looking into what really matters.
Is Batman v Superman to blame?

Said it was a thing since 2001 so more than likely it was Reindeer Games

theyre getting back together, its inevitable. This was probably one of her demands
Serious question:
Does /tv/ actually read comics?
You'd think that with the abundance of capeshit threads on here, some /tv/ goers would jump ship and actually read the source material.
>>80581603
I do, and I hate capeshit for both being bad movies and not staying true to the comics
>>80581603
no
/co/mblr invasion is a real issue
>>80581603

DC Rebirth has been pretty acceptable. I don't really read much other than a few of those titles though

those fucking single task machines are just too advanced for us guise
Why do you think Rambo became a multi-film franchise about senseless, gratuitous violence, and Rambo himself became a character synonymous with over-the-top aggression, when the original First Blood (1982) was explicitly about the tragedy, futility, and torment of that kind of life? Was the message just totally lost on audiences who came for the action and explosions?
money
>>80581618
well yeah but like, Ronald Reagan said multiple times in speeches that his policies were inspired by the aggressiveness of Rambo.
Did the Gipper miss the part where Rambo broke down like crying child because of how deeply that aggressiveness damaged him and rendered him unfit for civil society?
>>80581593
The badass action in the first one overshadowed the fact that it was really Rambo being a severely damaged man unfit for civilian life that made it great.
Why was she such a cry baby
The bitch shot a man at the start of the movie without giving a single fuck
But yet when she joins the big boys she turns into a pussy.
>>80448725
because emily blunt is an english cow who ruins everything she's in

Haven't seen anything about this but apparently Jack Nicholson is coming out of retirement to star in a remake of "Toni Erdmann", a German film from 2016. The plot of the movie:
>“Toni Erdmann” followed a practical joking father who tries to reconnect with his hard working daughter by creating an outrageous alter ego and posing as her CEO’s life coach.
Nicholson will play the father, Kristen Wiig will play the daughter.
This will be his first film in about 10 years, other than his small role in the 2010 film "How Do You Know"
Thoughts? I'm not a big fan of Wiig but the premise is interesting and I love Nicholson. He also must be pretty excited about the role given that he's coming out of a decade-long retirement to do it (he actually pitched the idea of remaking it after seeing the original).
bumpin

I'm fine watching gay actors.
Being a 40 year old virgin I'm not assaulted by the fact that somebody younger than me is getting hot pussy in RL when watching kino.
