The thing that ruins nu-Simpsons for me is that god awful animation. I actually didn't mind the show all the way up to the movie.

I would say Silence is a masterpiece but so is Wolf of Wall Street. The two of them together are his best movies this century for sure, and probably 2 of his best 5 or 6 ever.
It's so amazing. God damn plebs who couldn't enjoy it in the theater.

Are there any fans about?
I know I'm late to the party but I just started, I'm up to episode 6 and I'm enjoying it although I find a lot of the characters motivations hard to grasp: everyone is covering for each other which is risking losing the war for what? Friendship? A lot of them don't seem to like each other that much. Then there's this Doctor guy going along with a Cylon inside his head for god knows what reason.
WIll I ever understand them?
Also the miniseries was better so far, it was so dark and disturbing compared to what I've seen since.

Director Brett Ratner says the film review site Rotten Tomatoes is damaging Hollywood.
"The worst thing that we have in today's movie culture is Rotten Tomatoes," he told an audience at the Sun Valley Film Festival.
"I think it's the destruction of our business."
Brett Ratner directed the Rush Hour franchise, and his company RatPac Entertainment co-financed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
He suggested that the way the site aggregates reviews is unfair.
"The Rotten Tomatoes score was so low on Batman v Superman, I think it put a cloud over a movie that was incredibly successful," said the 47-year-old.
Batman v Superman performed well at the box office, making $868m (£695m) worldwide.

THIS NEW SEASON IS FUCKING SHIT
you think they CARE about the older episodes?
Jack outright said in season 5 episode 3 that "you've never killed a human before", retconning the bloodbath in Jack vs Bounty Hunters.
Also, the creator OUTRIGHT SAID the new episodes are meant to be watched without ANY knowledge of prior episodes, and he flat out forgets almost everything from the older seasons. When he was asked why the Emperor's arrow caught fire in the Birth of Aku, the creator was speechless and said he can't remember.
They're also not going to acknowledge that the Emperor was tricked and the traitor in the palace arc (the guy who gave the potion to 'kill' aku was actually trying to free aku, and could have been the true villain in this series)
this new season only exists to set up pic related as samurai jack's wife

Every single episode from the original show stood on it's own with no overarching plot because it's an anthology series, so there is no real backstory besides Jack's origin and the fact that he's continuously failed to get back to the past for 50 years.
He didn't kill those bounty hunters either
