Is Hellraiser 2: Hellbound horror kino?
>Awesome body horror
>Great aesthetics of a labyrinthine hell/leviathan
>Deep lore (not just some shitty supernatural killer)
>Cute puzzle solving girl
Does anything even compete? Are there any other horror movies with similar depictions of hell or a horrible other worldly realm?
Occult (2009) has the best depiction of Hell.
Hellraiser & Hellraiser II are good horror films. Hellraiser III is goofy fun, as is Hellraiser IV to a lesser extent but only really saved by Doug Bradley's performance.
Hellraiser V is a step in a different direction but still a solid movie, everything after this is a joke though tbqhfam
Cast him.

>Each Defender has arrived separately at the offices of Midland Circle (a name that should sound familiar to Daredevil fans as the shady operation behind a giant, literal plot hole in season 2), and none of them expected to cross paths. But before they can properly meet and greet, the four have wound up trapped in the middle of a corridor and must brawl their way past a group of enemies.

What does /tv/ think about it?
>"good but not breaking bad"
I personally think it's an enjoyable show, and I'm hype for the third season after how the second season ended.
nothing happens : the show
>>81263282
its better than breaking bad ... its so fucking comfy i can't even put it in words
cinematography is beautiful, acting is great ... i love watching jimmy do "literally nothing".
Its just maximum comfyness and theres nothing similiar on tv/film that makes me more happy. Its the only show i can zone out with from the world. No idea why but i reaaaaaally love it and i hated Breaking Bad.
>>81263428
Agree, that's what I loved about Breaking Bad too, the cinematography is just fucking beautiful.
Surprised you hated Breaking Bad though, why's that?
>anime failed
>vidya failed
>YA failed
What's the actual next Hollywood trend after capeshit?
idk capeshit's been going strong since Spider-Man came out back in 2002, I don't see it dying down any time soon.
Kaijukino
Then maybe fantasy adaptations will come back when Dune gets released, plus the announced wheel of time and xanth (ugh) movies
YA shit failed so bad that the maze runner and divergent series never finished
Would you put Justified among the television greats like Sopranos, The Wire or Mad med?
Yes, it is literally my favorite show.
it's definitely the most entertaining
Yes, this and Deadwood
yea I think he's handsome, so what?

that episode was amazing and i'm not even reddit i swear.
lmaooooo f*cking epic
You could switch the writers from Rick and Morty and the Big Bang Theory and no one would notice a difference.
Daily reminder that there was literally an episode of Rick and Morty where Jerry's dad was a literal cuck, and the episode portrayed it in a negative light and portrayed the women (Beth and Summer) as stupid for embracing it, and even Jerry, the worlds biggest beta, knows it's degenerate. Rick and Morty is more 4chan than Reddit.
Mulan McNugget sauce.
I always thought the show was pretty redpilled but there is no denying that the humor caters to the leddit crowd

DELETE THIS
WOAAAHH, so this is the power of Stephen King!
He complained and bitched for 2 decades about the movie until Kubrick just gave him the rights back so he shuts the fuck up. The real real "balls to the wall horror" plot, supervised by Stephen King himself...its utter shit
>The ghosts who literally stop Jack twice when he is about to murder his wife because "there was no time", yet they spend 5 minutes talking when a single swing of the crocket stick would kill her in 5 seconds.
>The constant reminder that THIS IS A REAL GHOST STORY, UNLIKE THE MOVIE
>The campy as fuck ending in the boiler with Jack fighting 2 stupid ghosts for the valve
>The ghost of Jack coming back for Danny's graduation and to give him a kiss
Kubrick literally took a shit book and made something great from it. God, to believe when I was young I considered Stephen King a decent author. Fucking hack.
Is Doctor Sleep even good?
>>81260251
>Is Doctor Sleep even good?
No. King hasn't written anything worth reading in a long time.
I had no idea this existed. Is it a TV movie or a real movie? Looks bad from that still alone.
>>81260386
It's really fucking bad. It was a TV movie in the nineties that had a lot press. I bet the ratings were really good too, but it's complete trash.
http://www.avclub.com/article/oscar-isaac-go-nazi-hunting-operation-finale-252919
>Oscar Isaac is joining the long tradition of cinematic Nazi hunters, with Deadline reporting that the Star Wars star has signed on to play Mossad agent Peter Malkin in an upcoming historical drama about Israel’s clandestine capture of Adolf Eichmann. Isaac is in final negotiations to star in Operation Finale, a dramatization of the long-running efforts to find, capture, and ultimately execute Eichmann, one of the primary architects of the Holocaust.
>Malkin—who eventually became the chief of operations for Israel’s intelligence agency—was one of the agents who actually captured Eichmann in 1960, wrestling him to the ground near the Argentinian home where he’d been living under an assumed name. He then worked to smuggle the captured Nazi out of the country, drugging him and disguising him as a flight attendant on an El Al flight back to Israel, where he was put on trial and hanged in 1962.
>About A Boy’s Chris Weitz will direct the film, which is being compared to historical spy dramas like Argo and Munich. Isaac, meanwhile, is keeping himself busy in his non-Star Wars time; he recently finished shooting on another historical drama, The Promise, with Christian Bale, and is set to play another Nazi-fighting superspy in The Garbo Project.
>inb4 /tv/ being mad that most of the world just doesn't like nazis
the goyim must never forget
Hollywood really does only have like 4 or 5 to-go actors that switch every couple of years, don't they?
