Gonna watch this tonight. What am I in for? Anyone here seen it?
No one?
It's is complete trash, worse than the witch, almost worse than babadook. THere's a screaming scene that sounds so fake and takes you out of the movie, it's over an hour in so by the time it happens you'll have already wasted your time. If you already downloaded it, do yourself a flavor and delete it and spend the extra time looking for a new movie.

>the witch, almost worse than babadook.
Not OP, but I liked both of those movies, so I'm not unsold on this movie.
Out of curiosity, what do you consider to be good modern horror movies?
How do I develop a deeper understanding of what I watch? I basically only pay attention to the plot and the characters. I don't think I am catching most of the intended subtext and symbolism.
That's good.

Marvel movies must be right up your ally! *quip quip*
how do I escape plebdom?
So, I've talked to my piece of shit of a cousin many times about IASIP, showed him scenes and all,, but he refuses to watch it because he says they're always overreacting to stuff, screaming at each other and that people don't behave like that irl.
What should I do to convince him it's a good show?
just let it go
who cares what someone else watches
just rape your cousin and move on
Maybe respect that his taste and opinions differ from yours.

Why do "fans" get so buttblasted when their favorite actors do capeshit? Last time I checked, artistic credibility wasn't a valid currency that could be used to buy food or pay rent.
to be fair, you got buttblasted enough to make a thread about it so..

It's funny, dude. Just turn your brain off.
Was he literally autistic
>ridiculously clean apartment
>loves mechanics
>excels at one thing
>stone face at just about everything happening around him
>stays quiet and forces a smile all the time
>the only time he ever shows emotion is when he told some guy to fuck off
I like the movie but I don't know if the character is stoic or at the high end of the spectrum
Also Drive thread.
Is this photo actually from Drive? If so then from what scene?

>release date pushed back to August
>still no trailer
This movie is going to be a disaster

Its going to be a clusterfuck of epic proportions. Even to us who read the books or may have even liked them, you have to admit theyre nonsensical and have no shape to them. No normie is going to tolerate or understand it (not that it can be understood really). And then of course you have Elba playing Roland. Give me a fucking break...

Imagine the audience reaction when they fight the Dr. Doom robots with Star Wars lightsabers.
>>81118692
Its been a while since I read the books, was that in Wolves of Calla? Either way, I think that series is a terrible idea for live productions.
If you could watch any two actors have a sex scene in a movie who would you watch?
Me? Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman.

i like your digits but dawn is better overall.
killer effects in day tho. great, tense atmosphere.
Wasn't that ending forced on him?
I know that the A-Team ending is a cop-out and it was either studio interference or last minute nerves that the original ending would be too dark, but it's one minute of shit in an otherwise great film.
Why didn't they wear masks?
Sunglasses hardly make for an effective disguise
Bunch of dudes in black suits is pretty inconspicuous, the lack of differentiating factors doesn't allow for positive, beyond a reasonable doubt, identification.
Plus it's the early 90s, CCTV cameras aren't going to be the best quality, if there were any at all.

Pretty sure restaurant staff would remember a group of dudes all wearing the exact same clothes on the morning of the robbery when the news reports start. Also Joe and NGE there too who were almost certainly known to the police. Wouldn't take much of a description for the cops to know who they're dealing with and almost certainly a tonne of witnesses who saw them with the exact same number of guys wearing the same clothes as a group who robbed a jewelers and killed a lot of people. Pretty dumb really, don't think professional crooks would ever pull off a job like this but it's a movie so hey that's not really the point.
