ITT: we settle the dust
Satire vs Homage?
>>81166047
this. theyre both at the top of their field.
>>81166047
>>81166083
No, I clearly meant having the cast's names at the bottom of the poster vs the top of the poster
is that movie any good?
It is one of my favorites
yes.
>>81165808
yes but it feels a bit overlong.
has one of the best opening and closing scenes in cinema history.
What's the last movie you rewatched?
>>81165753
Either The Faculty or one of the Police Academy movies.
Slumdog Millionaire
4/10
I just tried to watch Patriot's Day and couldn't make it ten minutes. I tapped out when they showed some guy making out with a girl and the camera kept focusing on his legs and I realized I didn't need this in my life right now.
I learned my lesson from the "no bailout for people like us" graffiti from Hell Or High Water

>mfw /tv/ is STILL the king of boards.
>>81165738

>Saw movie with gf last night
>I know every single Disney movie and song, grew up with 3 sisters.
Emma Watson cannot sing. All auto tune and talk singing.
Emma Watson's portrayal of Belle sucked
Beast looked like shit
Castle outside looked like shit
Gaston and Lefou worked well
Ballroom scene was beautiful
CGI servants were great
How the hell did they fuck up the two main TITLE CHARACTERS??
I thought Emma looked a bit off at times, but generally it was good. I decided to rewatch the cartoon when I came home and holy fuck they animated their faces weird at times.
I personally think it's on par with the cartoon.
>>81165673
I thought it was fine. I think Emma is probably the weakest thing about it, but perhaps part of that is bias considering shes been Herminone for god knows how long and we keep seeing her as that role. The art direction was fantastic, and Lumiere/Cogworth were on point
>>81165673
I really liked it, desu, I may even go see it again.
daily reminder that the studio thinks this will actually start a cinematic universe
>>81165549
she sure as hell starts my cinematic universe if you get mu drift
It's got based Tom in it, how could it possibly fail?
>OT VIII star

>>81165440
Shitkino
Why is this film being snubbed in the USA?
They can't understand the funny accents. No one goes to the theater at 4:30pm on a sunday when they have subtitles on
Sony is japanese, and hollywood is jews. Jews fear the samurai. Look at all the jidf shitposting they do on /tv/ about sony.
>>81165241
>DUDE FOREIGN HUMOR LMAO
the only ""good"" ""british humor"" ""film"" ever was Hot Fuzz
well that was a load of shit
>watching any movie with channing tatum
>>81165192
It wasn't shit but it wasn't Kino. A disappointing film from the Cohen brothers.
>>81165192
Really? I liked it, thought it was charming.
Nobody really discusses it here, heh.
>deadliest actor with deadliest weapon
Is this guy literally unstoppable?
>>81165166

>>81165325

>>81165166
Does anyone have a webm of the ending of The Perfect Weapon where Steven Seagal gets mortally wounded but then Steven Seagal walks on screen, comforts Steven Seagal a little, and then puts wounded Steven Seagal out of his misery?
It's like 2008 all over again
>>81164999
kino will suffer
>>81164999
It will turn out that the Trump jokes don't in fact write themselves.
