Is Shin Godzilla worth watching or a meme? Is it as good as the new American one?

>Thinking little nippon can handle big monster american zilla.
Merica' strong. He make big boom in your little room.
BOOMBOOMBOOM
>>81141470
Its bette arnd differnt.
I love that murrika gets to do monster fights and gives a free run for th japs to do mor scary stuff and exprimntal stuff.
I hope lgendary gts Gamra
More like Godthicca
Why isn't she Lara Croft?
Because SJWs wanted someone with pancake tits rather than staying true to the source material
That's a good question. I thought her popular sitcom would've amounted to something.
>>81168680
because it's not 2005 and she's old as fuck now.
>/tv/ tells you a movie is good
>it's not
Fucking hell this is the most tedious movie I've ever watched. Explain why I should have liked this.
For context I like Lynch and think Elephant Man, Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive are all very good films, but I dislike Eraserhead. Everything else in his catalogue ranges from ok to good.
>>81168586
If you enjoyed Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire should have been right up your alley because of the similar dream/nightmare experience, sorry that you didn't like it.
I don't really see why didn't you like it because I loved Inland Empire for almost all the same reasons I loved Lost Highway/Mulholland Drive.
The only difference is Inland Empire had a smaller budget, but it's 110% David Lynch. An actual film experience.
>>81168586
so Dune is ok but you didn't like Eraserhead or Inland Empire, you fucking troll? Fuck off
I've liked everything Lynch has done so far except Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, and his music. Also his wacky TM lectures and "methods"
anyone here watch the salesman? what did you think of it? was it muslimkino?
>>81168415
Is a good rip out? With subs burned in?
>>81168415
I haven't read any reviews since I saw it but...
what exactly did it have to do with Miller's play? I couldn't think of any real parallels while watching it.
good flick though. unfortunately I think Farahdi got too caught up in making it a mystery when he should've kept it a portrait of trauma. The "who did it?" angle seems a little cheap compared to the real complexity of how she manages to cope with the assault.
Taraneh nudes when?
Seems like this movie is going to be another high budget failure, just like John Carter but I'll watch it anyway.
Thoughts?

It looks like fucking Warcraft tier autismal garbage. Why even fucking bother attach the name of King Arthur when you're not even going to follow even the vaguest points? Why not make an original IP?
And anyway nothing can surpass Excalibur.
>>81168411
I want it to be good, shame they added the mythical shit.
I just want a movie like Troy/Kingdom of Heaven/Last Samurai again
>>81168749
sorry anon, the epic historical quota has been reached since years back
they gotta have budget enough for capeshit
Is it really surprising that the most dedicated director in the industry should be a figure of controversy?
>>81168391
I don't think there's anything controversial about him. He's somebody's dad who makes money inserting imagery from grander works into stories intended for children.
>>81168391
>the most dedicated director in the industry
What is it about this incompetent manlet that attracts all the mental patients?
>CGI from 1993 is still the best we have ever seen
How?
>>81168376
t. yify
here's a better quality shot.
lighting
>>81168376
Mix of practical effects blended with CGI.
I am very disappointed by the acting in this film. Sad.
>>81168249
Mr Garfield was carry in Hacksaw, but he couldn't carry Silence.
>>81168249
I was actually impressed by Garfield. I've seen him give terrible performances but I thought he really understood this character.
>>81168288
Agreed, Garfield was great in this. I'll always wonder what could have been if that original Bernal/Del Toro/DDL cast had stood. I think it would have been remarkable
I watched my first episode of TNG today. It was an episode where where the crew land on a mysterious planet that's pitch black with a revolving door that takes them to a mysterious Earth casino which turns out to be the setting of a badly made fictional book. It tried to be like Twilight Zone or Half-Life where it brings up more questions than it answers, but unlike those two series, it doesn't explain much that happened in the episode at all and it didn't have much of a style. There was lots of things that didn't make much sense and weren't explained. The episode was called " Hotel Royal". I looked at multiple "worst of" Star Trek TNG episodes and this wasn't even on there, though it's still considered a bad episode. I'm assuming this series is filled with episodes like these and I'm not sure if I want use my time watching these episodes.
>>81168202
t. george lucas
>>81168202
they literally explained everything in that episode
you watched one of the few "good"eps of tng. tng is fucking garbage.
>muh character scenes
>muh pointless dialogue from X
waste of time. Watch TOS.
What is the consensus on this kino?
>>81167885
>Gothel will never sing "Mother Knows Best" softly in your ear while giving you a handjob

>>81167885
Tangled >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Frozen
Also, best Disney princess romance by far
>>81167885

Is this show actually good or is it eye rolling white people r evil nazis xd lib trash?
2nd season is pretty good
>>81167768
It's decent
topic, plot and politics aside, i felt that i was just another 6/10 show.
Best scene/moment/line and why?
For me it has to be the final duel in the throne room for the emotion and drama portrayed by the script and actors, especially when Vader triggers Luke with mention of his sister.
I like when Luke realizes his aunt and uncle are in trouble and he says the word "home"
I also liked when Darth Vader walked out of the scene after he said "A presence I have not felt since"
Empire when Yoda pulls the X-Wing out of the swamp.
The way the music swells, it gives me chills every time.
>>81167759
Jedi Rocks.
What is actually so evil about Aku? Earth seems pretty clean and natural and the population benefits from an orderly society and high technology.
Samurai Jack thread?
I fucking love the new season. Few hours then episode 4.
>>81167710
>Earth seems pretty clean and natural and the population benefits from an orderly society
Proof you didn't watch the show
