Future historians will look back at 21th century culture and determine this as its breaking point.

>11 movies in 4 years
theyre really churning them out now
Literally how is the capeshit trend any worse than the hundreds of Westerns made in the 50s and 60's?
Remember when just the right word in a movie title was enough for you?
When did it all go wrong?
>>81231700
I do remember. It was the 90s. That's when it began to go wrong.
>>81233513
But it didn't completely all go wrong until just after September 11, 2001 when suddenly people began to police each other's thoughts.
I still i'm amazed that this movie never got boring for me.
It was pretty fun.
In all seriousness, and the quality of the movie aside, does anyone really have a problem with Jared Leto's performance in Suicide Squad? I thought he did a great job, especially considering he was only in the film for 10 minutes max. He had so much presence that it felt like it was much more.
>>81231678
>does anyone really have a problem with Jared Leto's performance in Suicide Squad?
What little there is of it is fine, but you can't ignore that so much of it was left on the cutting room floor AND that they were too chicken shit to show the abusive nature of the relationship and instead opted to make it "true love".
They pretty much wasted his first appearance, what would probably have been better is if the Joker was never shown in any promos beforehand and that Joker was rumored to be dead but harley throughout the movie insists he's alive until she's forced to give herself a psycheval and move on.
Cue the last few minutes where she is rescued at Blackgate and it's revealed that the Joker is indeed alive and is played by Jared Leto.
>>81231678
He should have a better, less grumpy voice. And laugh more. And smile more. Other than that he is fine.
I also agree the fact that he had little screentime. It would not have made sense to make him the main villain of the film
I don't get the hate either. The Joker was never portrayed in a more psychotic way! The end result is absolutely #**T~W~I~S~T~E~D**
TESB>SW>>>>>ROTJ>>TFA>>>>>>>>>>>>RO>ROTS>>AOTC>TPM
5 > 8 > 6 > 4 > 7 > 3 > 9 > 2 > 1

WRONG
ROTS > SW = TESB > ROTJ > TFA = RO > AOTC > TPM
>>81231613
Seriously, how can people prefer Empire to the original film!?
I mean, really! The only better things about empire are more screentime to Vader and Yoda
We all agree that Die Hard 3 is better than Die Hard 2, right?
i never saw die hard 3
its the only one i havent seen
>>81231459
you've seen die hard 4 and 5 but haven't seen 3? what the hell is wrong with you anon

What Asian actors are capable of/deserve a lead role right now but aren't getting one?
Asians can't be lead, they have no emotions
There aren't any Asian actors good enough and well liked enough in Hollywood who deserve to be the lead in a film. Jewish Hollywood nepotism and cronyism simply isn't interested in devleoping that kind of talent.
>>81231779
I wish I had no emotions
>"Let's put it on."
>"Put what on?"
>"The last suit you'll ever wear."
>Wears a different suit at the end of the movie
Also, would Will Smith have made a good Neo? He actually looks pretty cool here, so a part of me thinks he might have done a decent job.
watched the 3rd movie today
dont know why
>>81231365
>Also, would Will Smith have made a good Neo? He actually looks pretty cool here, so a part of me thinks he might have done a decent job.
Nope, wouldn't have been a good Superman either. He's a selfish asshole that always hogs the spotlight, there's no way he would have offered up any of his paycheck towards finishing the matrix or buying the stunt crew Harleys like Keanu did.
>>81231535
I hated MIB2 so fucking much that I don't even want to acknowledge the third movie's existence.
Westworld made me wonder, is there a single actress who aged worse?
>>81231355
Tons, but for example Lara Flynn boyle
>>81231355
Lohan. Compare her to McAdams, Caplan, Chibert, and Siegfried.
>>81231355
Tara Reid.
HAHAHAHAHA LOOK AT THE FUCKING CARS

Okay, fuck Batman v Superman... Can we talk about Man of Steel and it's place as the start of the DCEU.
Anyone else remember when Man of Steel came out and most people thought it was pretty decent, but with some major flaws , like psychopath dad and superman tearing up the city.
But all in all people were pretty happy with it and the consensus was that there was a lot of good in it that just didn't quite live up to its potential. There was a very optimistic feeling that BvS would fix these flaws and finally give us the perfect DC movie..
And now after 2 more movies, MoS stands as DCs crowning achievement (in the new universe) and is literally the best of the new movies. Just kinda sad (and funny) how it went from that okay movie that showed a lot of promises for the universe and hyped people up for future movies that would be better, and now it is the best dc movie, just shows how much they fuktup
>>81231264
I remember when Green Lantern was supposed to kick off the DCEU but it was so bad they pulled a Mulligan
>>81230984
When i walked out the theater after the movie i was like, okey its a good comic book movie, but a bad Superman movie.
