How did he get a trademark on "dry humor"? Seems a bit unfair to be honest. And why doesn't he sue all the other comedians that use it?
RIP comedy

>People ask the question... what's a RocknRolla? And I tell 'em - it's not about drums, drugs, and hospital drips, oh no. There's more there than that, my friend. We all like a bit of the good life - some the money, some the drugs, others the sex game, the glamour, or the fame. But a RocknRolla, oh, he's different. Why? Because a real RocknRolla wants the fucking lot.

It's alright. Very flawed but saved by Sutherland being a total badass for 8 and a half days. People say the later seasons get worse (6,7,8) but they're completely watchable. I find the first season to be the worst because they don't utilize the format very well.
Is there a movie that changed your life? I'm sad because I can never ever ever fucking experience the first time I saw drive again. I've seen it about 14 times in my life already and the only times it's come close to the first time we're the second and third viewing, nothing compares. I've bought the jacket, toothpicks, glasses, I loved the movie so much, the soundtrack, I wanted to be just like the driver.
Does anyone else feel like this about a movie
>inb4 JOKAH BAYBE
>tfw no movie matches up to drive because you've never scene a movie before with such little dialogue yet such powerful and captivating scenes characters and moments so you just sit there hoping that the next movie you see won't top drive and try to replace its place in your weak little /tv/ heart
>tfw this poster hangs above your bed
>tfw it makes you wanna tear your top gun poster down
>tfw nothing beats drive ;(
>tfw real hero comes on and your heart doesn't flutter as much as it used to ;(

I'm halfway through this. It's OK. Some skits are good and some are just not. Is it reflective of their other stuff?
Nah their other stuff is worse
>>81815002
There's only a handful of really good stuff in the entire series.
This shows problem is it's not as biting as the original MDE stuff. I remember watching these episodes premier and getting aggravated that so much of the tiny amount of runtime each episode had is wasted on PG-13-tier clips with one or two clips that actually feel like authentic MDE tossed in the salad with it. Like, the one with the male prostitutes? It's obvious a lot of this stuff was cooked up by writers other than Sam, Nick, and Charles who I would guess reluctantly participated because they were blinded by their excitement of getting a real TV show and had no idea how much of their writing contributions we're going to be cut from the show. They were probably thinking "oh this is lame yeah but at least it will be mixed in with all this other cool stuff" but of course they were mistaken.
