>celebs come on /tv/ to shitpost other A-listers
>celebs come on /tv/ to call themselves based
Who do you think has done it?
>>81913905
Morrisey does it on /mu/, against Robert Smith
Ben Affleck hates Disney shills
>>81913942
Ben Affleck hates himself.
>everyone in the galaxy has a cool "space name"
>your name is Luke
Skywalker
Skywalker is an awesome surname. You can overdo it if you have a super cool first and last name, it flows better with one normal name.
>>81913711
But how and why did Padmé even come up with "Luke", a name from Biblical origin? Did she mean something by this?
I hated how whiney and ineffective Kylo Ren was. They start the movie out with him being a masterful force badass and by the end of the movie he's getting his ass kicked by an untrained force user.

>he's the villain
From whose point of view? Who's to say he's not the protagonist?
He's the love interest. Nu-Star Wars has no villain.
>>81913195
He's not even a villain, just a cuck with anger problems.
Is jazz REALLY dead? Does jazz listeners have autism like our goose?
>>81912498
Jazz serves a cultural function in the music scene. It is a signifier for musical "adulthood." To embrace jazz is to don a kind of graduation cap, signifying a broadening of tastes outside "mere" rock music. This ostentatious display of "sophistication" is an insult, and I find the graduation cappers transparent and tedious. Certainly there must be interesting music one could call "jazz." There must be. I've never heard it, but I grant that it is out there somewhere.
Jazz has a non-musical parallel: Christiania, the "free" zone in Copenhagen. In Christiania, like in jazz, there is no law. People are left to their own inventions to create and act as they see fit. In Jazz, the musicians are allowed to improvise over and beside structural elements that may themselves be extemporaneous. Sounds good, doesn't it? Freedom -- sounds good.
The reality is much bleaker. Christiania is a squalid, trashy string of alleys with rag-and-bone men selling drugs, tie-dye and wretched food. Granted Total Freedom, and this is what they've chosen to do with it, sell hash and lentil soup? Jazz is similar. The results are so far beneath the conception that there is no English word for the dissappointment one feels when forced to confront it. Granted Total Freedom, you've chosen to play II V I and blow a goddamn trill on the saxophone? Only by willfully ignoring its failings can one pretend to appreciate it as an idiom and don the cap.
as a progressive medium, probably, but trios are still jamming til 5am in some parts of the world
Can anons recommend some casual jazz that is easy to get into

ford seems like the kinda of guy that enjoys making movies, but hates all the bullshit that comes with it. Like interviews, signing your own name on stupid shit like a lego starship etc etc.

Don't worry, all the clone kids got away. Enough for new movies for young adults and a wolverine that is female now.
Right only exists becasue Left changed the game
is there a more skilled actor in Hollywood RIGHT NOW?
>>81911965
He's like Jackie Chan in reverse, the older he gets the crazier the stunts, 10 years from now he'll probably do a space jump

Fuck it, all these threads have convinced me to give Blunt Talk a try even if Seth McFarlane is involved with it.
After the first two episodes of Dark Matter there's going to be a segment called After Dark where people involved talk about it
but its not that popular...
were tho? syfy webpage?
anyway. when does s3 start?
it still has a fuller universe than The expanse, hopefully they connect the dots now, and grows from episodic gags to more serious scifi
why dont they do that for killjoys too?
You have 10 seconds to explain why I just watched a two hour McDonalds commercial.

WEIRD SHIT HAPPENS NOTHING IS EVER EXPLAINED THE SHOW OF THE DECADE

I understand the conflict presented, but then it went nowhere and was never mentioned again.
