>>82276070
Yes, it's this year's arthouse horror movie that will get meme'd hard by /tv/ just like VVitch and It Follows when the torrent gets released

Just make sure not to be a dumbass like McCandless and bring map and educate yourself on survival skills like identifying edible foods and construction.
>>82274811
Yeah I'm going to do it right, lots of study, planning and preparation, getting fit as well.
He had the right Idea but it was poorly executed.
>>82274436
He was a retard. Glad he's dead.
Can a Stupid Character still be engaging? Ryan Gosling in pic related is an absolute moron but is arguably the most valuable character. Are there other examples of idiots who are still good characters?
>>82274375
I'd say you're a pretty good character OP.
This movie was really enjoyable seen it 3 times now on hbo definitely a niche film not for everyone

How the fuck do people need the ending explained? They chose their dreams not each other and that was a what if? Not a hard plot exactly

We live in a world where bvs was too high brow for a large proportion of tge audience

Most popular modern movies have dozens of youtube videos with "EXPLAINED" in the title.
It's just a trend. It will die down hopefully.

Why isn't anyone talking about the Twin Peaks trailer?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hI_UZ55d4_A
is she ded?
plebs are to busy discussing shitposting about star wars and marvel. I'm getting a real inland empire from the trailer.
So with Franco, thankfully, not making Blood American, which director can you see doing the book justice?
And who could play The Judge?
>>82273681
Nobody can play the judge effectively because everyone has their own vision of who the judge is even though his looks are explicitly described in the book.
I've heard it stated often on 4chan that a movie for Blood Meridian should never be made, and that a TV miniseries should take its place, and I agree with this.
>>82273773
I know his height would be complained about but i personally think Hardy is a good choice for the Judge.
>>82273944
It could be done with visual trickery. I feel the better question is to who'd play the kid
Moments in tv and film that made you shed manly tears, ill start:
>I cherish the memories of a question my grandson asked me the other day, when he asked me: ‘Grandpa, were you a hero in the war?’ Grandpa said: ‘No, but I served in a company of heroes’.
>>82273551
The "memories"? Is he remembering each word seperately? Specious old cocksucker.
>>82273551
>>82273694
>I trayzhure the memories of his gobbling down my filthy bargain on nine seperate occasions in my toolshed where I keep my rapin' gear
>>82273551
>I cherish the memories of a question my grandson asked me the other day, when he asked me: ‘Grandpa, were you a hero in the war?’ Grandpa said: ‘No, I sided with the Japanazis - now I hurt myself to feel.'
I know there are already a couple of Guardians of the Galaxy threads, but I wanted to talk about something specific. The CGI sets in this are incredible. They know they aren't realistic and don't try to be, as visual art I think they are absolutely stunning. The porcelain memories bit was the highlight for me (and I'm really annoyed I can't find a good picture for this thread).
>>82273482
Yeah, THIS is how I want movies to look with rich and saturated color. Fucking morons like Zack Snyder suck the color out of his movies, like he sucks cum out of black cock. GOT2 delivered everything I wanted from the first film and had the sort of trippy Sci-fi psychedelic surrealism that The Fifth Element had. My worry is that Infinity War 1&2 will look like shit because those dumb cunt Russo brothers who made Civil War look FUCK AWFUL with desaturated hand held shaky cam shit. I really wish Gunn was going IW because GOTG 2, like Ant-man, has the perfect tone and style of what Marvel movie should be. Bold, operatic and emotional!!!FACT!!!
>>82273663
I like it because it's gives the Guardians an entirely different feel to the Earth based Marvel films, makes the cosmic stuff feel unknown and magical. If Infinity War is set mainly in space, as I imagine it will, it's going to disappoint me if they use the same colour scheme as the Earth based films. If it looks more like GotG, it will help give some consistency to how space looks in a Marvel film.
>>82273820
I agree with you 100%!!!FACT!!!
