It's hard to take the Rocky movies seriously at all if you know thing one about boxing. Stallone can't even throw a punch correctly.

Rocky is a drama / romance about a boxer, the sequels making them into boxing movies is the reason they're schlock or trash.

we see a 'proto-xenomorph' at the end.

a few of the characters inexplicably act like retards, in ways that don't comport with their professional skills (the idiot geologist who maps the pyramid gets lost, the idiot biologist, etc)

Its beyond low brow, it makes Cheech and Chong look like Homer. Don't watch it. Its trash that tries to pull laughs from vulgarity and exaggerated behavior (characters shouting for no reason, etc.) without a hint of wit.

Lex and Lionel Luther are what makes the show worth watching. Rosenbaum was born to play Lex.
