Why do so many people like reddit shows such as Game of Thrones? Why don't more people like 4chan shows such as Better call Saul?
>>82403744
Better Call Saul is shit, and if it wasn't riding the coattails of Breaking Bad it would never have even been greenlit.
>>82403821
way to out yourself as being from another website.

But it is shit though

Stranger Things
the 80s revival fad is over
>>82403498
bullshit
>>82403633
Why? The whole thing tries to make it painfully obvious it's an "adult" cartoon through cheesy dialogue and contrived neo-noir influence.
Why was there an axe on the spaceship?

That's a high tech instrument. Look at the space aged handle.
>want to watch horror movie
>forced to choose between only two (2) options
>A) the movie is about a group of people or one person who goes insane and hallucinates their own monsters, acts irrationally and then the movie ends with DUDE HUMANS ARE THE REAL MONSTERS LMAO
>B) the movie is about an actual monster that just kills each character one by one until the protagonist either dies or successfully defeats the monster
or c the option of psychological horror for intellectual people such as myself

Where exactly is this show going? We've had 99 episodes so far and what has really happened?
>Rick & Co find a "safe" place to settle down
>Place gets destroyed and overrun by zombies
>Fight off some bad guys
>Find new "safe" place to settle down
>Repeat
They never really explore any lore of this world and show what the fuck is going on. It's just Rick & Co running around hillbilly land. This show could have had so much potential if it just did more.
Well it's based on a comic book that has no end in sight and the author has said he'll probably just keep writing as long as it's making money for the publishing company, so most likely no-where.
>>82403055
It took me 1 episode to realize this show is retarded and it's only dawning on you after 99....
As long as Rick remains alive I will continue to watch the show. Although I'm worried about him in the comics sinceAndrea died and he killed Sherry and the next issue cover implies her rouge Savior group goes to Negan for help (though the tagline "misplaced trust" could be refering to them making the mistake of going to Negan who is seemingly obsessed with pleasing/impressing Rick).
You will
I will
not see this movie

I want to be an action filmmaker. It seems like a genre that'd be fun as hell to work in and one that I've learned a lot from.
Thing is, I have little to no budget and at the moment I really just want to cut my teeth on short films. Are there any essential low/no-budget short action kinos that I could use as inspiration?
Also, feel free to just share any short action scenes you think are cool.

Johnnie to? Haywire?

Escape From New York had a budget of 6 million in 1981

El Mariachi, for one. Totally low-budget, and quite watchable, at parts.
