The placebo effect is strong. Experiments dont work without a controlled variable. The people who do those kinds of drug trials have no treatment options left, like theyre gonna die anyway. I dont see how thats unethical. Its not like doctors decide to just not treat a cancer patient because they need to give someone sugar pills.

BSG only got added to the rosta a few months ago but I fell straight in love and I'm on my third watchthrough now. Good sci-fi shows are really rare (Voyqger isn't one of them but it's comfy at least)

I do the same with comedy shows but that's just because I have a somewhat specific taste. The problem is I mainly watch comedy, I don't really enjoy any serious/dramatic shows anymore.

The problem with cyberpunk is that you either make something with the "ideal" cyberpunk aesthetics like blade runner and get branded a copycat or you make something vaguely cyberpunk and people argue if it's cyberpunk or not.
