Is David a secret asshole?
>>82599941
>secret
no, he's an obvious asshole
>>82599941
Maybe if you mean in the same way that an anus in the middle of my forehead would be a secret asshole.
>ERIK NO
>IM SORRY CHARLES, ITS THEM OR US

As a Jew it made me realize how wrong I was in following the old outdated and wicked path, which made me convert to the Chaldean Catholic Church.

He stopped shopping at ROSS
I can't tell if he's acting cause you clarely see he's trying to not laugh when camera turns away or he's breaking down because he could've made tons of money from his show.
what does good cinematography actually mean?
>>82599553
Remember cinematography is just photography with moving subjects. The cinematographer's main job is controlling the lighting on the scene and the quality of the photography through choice of lens, filters, and stocks.
There's not really a checklist of what great cinematography should be. There's a technical side to it, as it may be the director's or cinematographer's choice to be very flashy and beautiful with the cinematography. Maybe they just want it to be merely competent enough. But great cinematographers are aware of the artistic impact of their choices and how the storytelling is helped by the look of the film.
Also, check out the documentary Visions Of Light: The Art Of Cinematography, in which cinematographers discuss their craft and its history.
"Looks nice"
How can marvel even compete?
thats a heavy looking bike
someone skipped a few leg days by the looks of it.
>>82599321
for you
was it actually good?
I'm still not sold on the fact that it getting a sequel automatically qualifies it as a good film
>>82599126
Yes
Incredible direction, beautiful CGI and solid performances from Noomi and Fassbender
all the problems are in the script, which really aren't as bad as people make it out to be. Movie is a solid 6-7/10.
>>82599126
very confusing. see if you can get your hands on the fan edit.
Are studios really that much to blame when it comes to movie blunders? Constantly when movies come out we hear that studios forced cuts that made it worse, or they constrained something that forced the director to not make the movie he wants.
Are studio executives mostly idiots? It seems like they cut alot out of movies and make them worse.
Literally think harder
>>82599079
Studios run things like a business, when it should be more of an art. They don't like taking risks, and feel safer looking at numbers and formulas. They feel much safer making Fast and Furious 14, than making something original. Although when they do make something original they and all the other studios will run that shit into the ground.
Then they also run movies past screen testors, which are mostly dumb tourists (also retired people or 18 year kids who aren't in college) coming to places like Vegas or shopping mall who have 3 hours to kill in the middle of the day to watch some random movie they've never heard of, it's not like they ask people hey want to watch this movie called x its about y. They just ask if you have time to watch a rough cut of a movie.
They get dials they they can turn positive or negative. Most dumb people turn it positive for things that are familiar or heart warming, not actually good. In terms of comedy they dial gets turned usually at the punchline, so they studios look at the data and then try to trim the set up, as if that makes sense.

>why is its always someone else, & never yourself op?
What are some good movies to help you cope with a breakup? I'm looking for more reflective movies and not just like pure comedy/getting your mind off it.
also pic mostly related, it's the best example i could think of, other would be like Her, or even Scott Pilgrim
Snuff 102
Movie 42

The rape scene with the Presidents daughter was a bit much I thought.
the part where max rapes the president's daughter was kino
>>82600159
It's not rape when neither of them can consent
So I have the chance to see this in cinema today.
I liked the first movie, but I usually hate Reddit and Marvel quipshit.
So is 2 any good? On a scale of Reddit to 10 how is it?
Kill yourself already.
>>82598793
They turned down the coolness and turned up the "Reddit" humor. I'm not even memeing.
You won't hate it, but you might cringe a few times.

>he goes to cinemas

This is like Death of a Salesman levels of soul crushing tragedy. You could make a black and white documentary of Brendan Frasers life with solitary piano notes and French narration and it would probably win several awards at the Cannes film festival (which would also serve as a cruel, ironic reminder that a film following his real life downfall achieved what he as an actor could not). Posthumous, obviously.
The only questions now remain, why has he not killed himself yet and honestly what would it take? Does he truly poses the willpower strong enough to wake up each morning in his own skin, grit his teeth and bear it? Or is he merely a coward clinging to the false hope that things will get better?
lol only faggots and liberals kill themselves, brandon is a stone cold killer, he will come back to the big screen one day, sooner or later.
He's working on Encino Man 2
why in gods name is he doing press on Black/urban radio?
what did you take away from this film?
>>82598684
can't remember, fell asleep 30mins in
Kino enlightenment. Before I saw Stalker, I was a Tarantino, Refn and Boyle loving pleb. Only since have I elevated myself to a level where I can truly consider myself a film connoisseur
boring
I need movie that give me the same feels the man from earth did.
Is there honestly a comfier movie in the whole history of the Kinographer ?
> Set in a comfy caban in the woods
> Whole movie is friend talking
> Set by a comfy open fire
> Actors set on comfy couchs with comfy blankets
> Good alchools and a little bit of food
> Character in circle
> The night slowly descend upon them while they are protected by their comfy cabin
> A little bit of mystery to keep you hooked on the film
I watched it yesterday in my bed with the blankets on and it was such a pleasurable experience.
I need more movies like theses
The Ninth Gate is my comfy movie. It happens all over the place but it's still mostly about Johnny Depp hanging out and drinking gin and smoking while looking through old books
