How did everything turn to shit so quickly after moot sold this place?
>nothing but jlist ads before
>painfully obnoxious ads now
>shitposting increased by like 1000%
>jannys and mods dumber than ever
>retarded new boards
Where did it all go so wrong?

>implying moot would have handled 2016-17 any better
He probably would have actually deleted /pol/ and that would have made this 1000x worse for everyone, libcucks and nazi frogs alike.
>>82882959
Yeah, I started using Brave browser on my phone exclusively because the ads here are so intrusive now. The shitty moderation has been going on since long before moot left; it was the Streisand effect from thoughtless censorship that created Gamergate.
>GooberGate happens
>/pol/ and /v/eddit use it as an excuse to shit up the rest of the site nonstop
>moot puts a stop to it
>/pol/ and /v/eddit turn on moot and start making up rumors about him, calling him a cuck, etc
>All the other boards end up joining in because they think it's funny and want to fit in
>Eventually moot sells 4chan to the gook so he can finally have some peace
>The gook somehow manages to ruin 4chan even further with more ads and shitty new boards that only fragment the community further
>/pol/ and r/the_donald set up shop on 4chan during the election and think they literally own the site now because Hillary was literally unelectable
>Literally every single board is nothing but the same shitty bait threads and people "ironically" being retarded and taking said bait every single time
>The gook continues to rake in money and doesn't even pretend to care about us
>Meanwhile moot has a cushy job at Google and is probably browsing this thread and laughing at us as we speak, knowing that he ended up getting his revenge in the end
The perfect crime.
I always liked Enterprise, from the start. Not as much as TNG, but it was at least on par with VOY and objectively better than DS9.
Archer was based as fuck

Why was there an axe on a spaceship? I didn't see a scrap of wood.
It was the last resort if Parker wouldn't shut up about the bonus situation.

It's a survival tool.

You never know when you might need an axe, they're versatile
Dispite whether you like Damon as an actor or not why isn't The Martian discussed more?
literally the worst movie I watched during 2015
The only discussion you can get is talking about what you hated about it

Because we're focusing on Ridley Scott's latest atrocity.

On /tv/? It's seen as uncut, pure, distilled reddit.
On its merits? It doesn't hold a candle to the book, which has way more details and doesn't obnoxiously shoehorn in diversity.

You sound FAT.
the best movies of all time happened in the 90s... by 2003, cinema was spiritually dead.

So I watched this fo the first time.
Was the whole aestethic of the movie supposed to be cringey?
Like the whole le geek gamer shit
>>82881725
yeah, i liked it though. it doesn't half-ass any of that cringe shit. it's enthusiastically earnest about it and i liked the movie for it.
it's pretty close to a live-action cartoon at points.

A film that follows around an illegal crime scene cleaner in the same vein as Nightcrawler, but with a pastel aesthetic through out the whole movie, and lots of tracking shots.
movie has no plot and changes protagonist every 7 minutes.

Everything other than the main title and soundtrack was shit
>>82881178
What in the absolute HECK does "main title" mean?
So I just rewatched this movie after so many years
Just one question, what the fuck were they thinking?
Seriously, now that I see it with ''grown up'' eyes I noticed that it's literally an artsy fartsy comic book movie, nothing funny about it and nothing ''superhero-ish'' in it.
And one can think maybe now I can appreciate it but thing is it's not only an artsy mess of a film but it's fucking boring, you can make a good serious comic book movie but this one has nothing interesting in it, not even the Hulk scenes can save it
Ignoring the awful CGI, the annoying comic book visuals, everything else it's still shit, the fact that it got greenlit makes me wonder if they were just experimenting with superhero movies back then
I mean X MEN and Spider-man both came out before this and they were good, what were they thinking when making this Hulk? what was so hard?
>>82881121
Also, was this film ever intended to become a franchise like X Men or Spider man? The ending implies it wasn't but maybe they did wanted to go further
I can't say for sure. I'm sure making a movie is complicated and somewhere in the process it just ends up what it is.
I think in this movie it was just a combination of the actors, writers, editors that just lead to some boring shit that wouldn't be remembered.
Come to think about it I can't think of any scene or anything at all I can call memorable or just recall off the top of my head that Jennifer Connelly did. Same with the other actors in that movie. I'm not sure if they just happened to choose that role and script for that reason or if it's just because they are good actors but pretty much just capable of talking with a straight face. Writers should have added a bit of humor in there.
Three dogs were over kill also for that fight scene. For a person like me there's a point where there is just too much going on to remember any one thing. Three dogs taking turns getting fucked up (we knew Hulk wasn't going to die). They should have left it at one bigger one or something..

>What's your longest relationship?
Just watched this. Do women seriously ask this question on dates?
>>82881102
How the fuck is she supposed to know what to think of you if she doesn't know what other women think of you, misogynist?
Dates seem so boring in the movies. You just go talk and eat. I'd rather play video games. What's even the point of a date?
she's gauging his SMV score and his dominance hierarchy and having an internal deliberation on the quality of his seed
subconsciously of course, but founded upon facts and judgement through the facade of normal social interaction
What's the best romance film ever made?
Pacific rim

Sorry I'm a Pleb and started to zone out toward the end. So.
1. Did they ever actually fuck?
2. In the end he returns home to confess his love to her only to abandon the plan when he learns she's started a family with her cheating husband right?
