Ahh you've got penis on your mind.
You must be the BLACKED poster.
This would have been excellent had Guest not started killing people.
That made it better. The ending was pure kino. The guest shittily faked his death, which was jarring because it looked bad, then it made sense when he walked out in the fireman suit.
his name is The Guest?
I always thought of this movie like "Captain America gon' bad".
What TV series has the best soundtrack?
I'm going with an obvious choice. Twin Peaks fags please don't post.

Twin Peaks
Utopia
Mad Men. Is that even a question?
>your friend while you're watching your favorite movie

the worst are the people that constantly talk and prevent me from focusong
Literally neckbeard: the movie
Why was it so shit?
I liked it more than Hot Fuzz. Good themes about getting older, friends, and all that, and decently directed action, but not as funny.
Disregarding OP's gibberish, I thought it was okay until that ending with Pegg shouting a floodlight for 10 minutes straight. Who thought that was a good idea?
the thing is these movies are considered unfunny trash in britain
you, the american, only find them funny because of the zany accents and lingo
spaced/shaun of dead/hot fuzz/worlds end are to britain what big mama's house is to america and viced-versa
Hi /tv/ can you help me remember the name of a TNG episode? I don't even know if it exists or I just remembered it wrong. But I think in the episode one of the crew members got a hold of a device that looks like a virtual machine headset. In the device there was a game and the game seemed to have instrument looking things in there. The device made the person who's wearing it crazy or something. The person who had the device kept wanting to pass it on to another person.

Ignore the trolls. You're looking for Move Along Home.
>take a horror film set in a contained, claustrophobic location
>follow it up with an action horror movie on a much larger scale and with new elements that are arguably gimmicky (ex. queen)
>totally different tone, but in an incredible twist, still a really good movie and a strangely worthy sequel
this is the problem with the alien franchise: it can't "go back" all the way to the minimalism that made the original so great, but this means that there's an expectation that they will be ratcheting things up with every new film, following in Cameron's example.
as a result, we have stupid popcorn movies, but they're still trying to keep the intelligent core of the original. we get new tricks but it's the same old formula, every time on a larger scale (ex. David genociding a whole fuckin' planet).
>tl;dr BRAVO CAMERON!
Who the fuck is that little girl? She looks nothing like newt.

Since most of /tv/ seems to love Blood Meridian and people have been trying to make it for years, what would you like a Blood Meridian film to be like if it HAD to be made?
Any director/actors/cinematographer/composer/whatever you have in mind? Any similar movies?
>>83257451
id like it to have the same kind of atmosphere that There Will Be Blood emanated
>>83257451
Director: Christopher Nolan
Actors: Aidan Gillen as whoever the fuck the main character is (I've never read the book, only shit-posted about it on /lit/) and Tom Hardy as the Judge or whatever
Composer: Hans Zimmer

REMINDER THAT MARSHALL IS INTRODUCED NEXT WEEK
In the middle of S1, we had a lone Dalek story and the introduction of Satellite Five. Revisited in the finale.
In the middle of S2, we had the introduction of the parallel world and Cybermen. Revisited in the finale.
In the middle of S3, we were introduced to the fobwatch idea. Revisited in the finale.
In the middle of S5, we were shown the effects of the crack in time. Revisited in the finale.
Series 6 focused in a lot on the Silence/Kovarian/River stuff, with both the opener and mid-series finale playing a part in the finale.
In the middle of S9, we had Maisie Williams becoming immortal. Revisited in the finale.
So when people are speculating about these Monks turning out to be Mondasian Cybermen in the finale, I think there's definitely some credence to the idea. Lots of series have introduced key things mid-series, which have then been played out further in the finale

It was a point about American healthcare. If you receive any workplace injury in America, you may as well be dead if you're poor.

can someone give me some recommendations?
i've pretty much seen all Korean ones, couple japanese ones that are outside the confines of the j-horror genre, and some of the French ones (don't like them as much, just brutal gore for the sake of brutal gore). all American or British ones, i've pretty much same save for some of those that exist largely in obscurity
looking for suggestions

I'm a powerlifter. Lotta people, uh, lotta people look at me and they want to sort of be like me. They want to be a nasty, fully natural, 100% beast. Step 1: Go to Kroger, get a gallon of milk. Gallon a day, do my uppercuts. Would you rather have the ability to do 30 sit-ups in a row, or would you rather be able to lift fucking an Atlas stone
This whole skit was pretty great
