Was it kino?
no it's a tv series, idiot.
The settings are maximum 80s style comfy
The show itself is brilliant and is great at demonstrating why politics and politicians are as they are
How accurate is it?
Released 20 years ago this month.
Do you have any fond memories, anon?
Or does it leave youC O L D ?

I went to cinema to see this movie, was fun, rewatched years ago and was boring

ICE-SKATING HENCHMEN, ANON.
Did having Alicia Silverstone in this actually add anything other than a pretty face? Like, if all her scenes were cut, would it matter?
Where is Nicholas Angel when London needs him the most?

NO COUPLES POLICY NOW!
Alright, who let all the falcons into the popcorn mines? A day's work just went to waste and now we have no popcorn and a bunch of engorged falcons that are too bloated to fly.
Out of Bunisess sign, get the cash money and run away
saw ginger snaps 2 last nite after seeing the first one the nite before.
it was fucking good. it was really good. maybe even better than the first one in some aspects.
the shift from the black comedy/horror tone and puberty themes of the first one to the psychological horror and substance addiction/depression themes of the second one was executed perfectly.
anyone wanna talk about these films?
and does the third one stand on its own legs as much as the second one?

>it was fucking good. it was really good. maybe even better than the first one in some aspects.
Told you. Best horror movies of the 2000s.

Isn't this the girl from Stephen King's It?
>and does the third one stand on its own legs as much as the second one?
Nah, it's blandly entertaining at best and has no real point to it. It's the only one out of the three I've only seen once.

Why don't the chinks make huge 200 million dollar blockbusters?
>>83737929
Because they have 0 Imagination or Originality.
Why do you think they always copy everything from whites?
>>83737961
Other way around.
http://www.veteranstoday.com/2012/03/07/china-rise-fall-and-re-emergence-as-a-global-power/
>China’s dominant global position was challenged by the rise of British imperialism, which had adopted the advanced technological, navigational and market innovations of China and other Asian countries in order to bypass earlier stages in becoming a world power.
Inb4 Chinese propaganda, it's a US conservative website.
>>83737961
>always copy
Every power copies in whatever field they lag behind in. There's literally no reason to reinvent something that's already state of the art. In terms of green technology investment and genetic engineering they're already pulling ahead of us.
Why are DC posters so superior
Is that official or fanart? Either way, it's because they approach the process with aspiration of artistic integrity, whereas Marvel knows they are selling shit to retards.

Anyone else love Whiplash but hate La La Land? I seriously feel like I might be the only person in the world who didn't think La La Land was amazing.
>Unsympathetic, paper-thin characters
>Glamorizes the shitty Hollywood industry/L.A. Scene
>Songs weren't particularly memorable
>Sebastian was totally in the wrong with regards to Jazz music
>The effects and production were really good
I had absolutely no investment in the Seb-Mia relationship. My final thought after the "shocking" end scene was basically "cry me a river."
>>83737642
>Unsympathetic, paper-thin characters
>Sebastian was totally in the wrong with regards to Jazz music
Whiplash also shared these two exact problems. Miles Teller played a flat two-dimensional character, and everyone else was just a stock caricature as well. Whiplash has almost nothing to do with Jazz when you really think about it, but the attitude it had towards it was "totally in the wrong".
>>83737642
If you go into it expecting to triumph from not feeling anything, and you get your wish, then good for you, but don't be surprised.
>>83737642
haven't seen Whiplash yet but I have been meaning to for awhile. La La Land was okay but I didn't think it was spectacular. It had nice colors and setpieces and background characters (who were even better performers than the stars) is that supposed to be the case? I haven't seen many classical musicals and I have the feeling like old actors and actresses were more talented in that they were good looking, can act AND sing whereas you get either or these days.
Also seeing Emma Stone in blu ray was a real boner kill, she looks like she has lost weight or something at least in the face and she just isn't that attractive or spectacular at acting for that matter. It made me rethink all the stuff I have seen Emma Stone in and if I really liked her performance in it
You mad?

It's an above average film. Once again critics prove they are completely out of touch when it comes to movies. Aside from a few overused tropes I enjoyed it. Stop looking at what critics say and fucking go see for yourself.

>>83737222
I don't know what you mean. It's just as relevant, if not more so, than today as it was when I watched it with my first gf in HS. Holy fuck I was in HS 8 years ago? yeesh
