this, it takes a true patrician to know when a film is good although it's bad
an other instance would be pic related
My pleb ass tried watching this maybe 10 years ago. I'm not sure I finished it. I just remember black and white, a dude walking around a farm and no dialogue.
I should give it another shot one of these days.

i had a dream that i was in emmits family, and we went to dinner with varga and another mysterious, sinister man. when the bill came, it was separate checks, and the waiter said everyone's name to give them their check. everyone else besides varga got their check, then when the waiter was about to say varga's real name, he got really agitated and tried to stop him, but not before the waiter could say the name: "Stephanie?" Then Varga got really pissed, stood up, called him a fucking knob or something british like that, and started stabbing him to death with a fork. The mysterious man then stabbed Varga in the face with his knife or fork, and Varga called him something like "YOU FUCKIN WANKA!" and walked out of the restaurant.
Later my family (Emmit's family) went back to the house. There were tons of presents under the tree, but we hadn't put them there. It had been Varga.
I swear to god i actually dreamt all of that last night, down to the name stephanie. What the fuck did I mean by this
Sounds like varga, or should i say stephanie, was actually santa clause in disguise

THIS IS GREAT
>clarke tries reasoning with savages for 4 whole seasons
>all they want to do is murder each other and the sky people
>sky people still bending over backwards to save these savages
>only people looking for a solution to the world ending are the sky people
>only people who know how to survive in a bunker are the sky people
>a whiny 17 year old grounder-weeaboo who doesnt even live with them somehow gets to make the decision to kill almost 400 sky people to save blood thirsty grounders who have done nothing but try to stop the sky people from saving everyone
when will clarke genocide the grounders
we need pike again to do what needs to be done
season 5 jabba clarke

Lately, I've found myself far more satisfied just watching great reviews of movies on Youtube, like Half in the Bag, then actually going to see the movie. You go to the theater, it takes at least 4 hours of your time, $12 for a ticket, you gotta get at least a drink, maybe some popcorn, $20, the sound is bad, the AC is making a clicking noise, the theater needs to replace the projector bulb and hasn't, then the movie ends up sucking.
I know it sounds like these shouldn't be comparable, but for me they are. I feel like the only reason I go to see movies are to form an opinion about how much I dislike them, because its been years since a truly great movie was released to theaters. Instead, I can let some dude on Youtube tell me what to think about it to hold me over until its released online (whether that's Netflix or... elsewhere).
Wait for The Dark Tower. It looks to be absolute kino
Is season 4 of Dexter better than season 2?
1, 2 and 4 are about on par imo. 3 was meh, but not 6 onward bad. I'd already been spoilt onRita's deathso some of the wind was taken out of my sails though.
Are there any serious terror movie were God is a character?
