Having to ask implies you're underaged and/or trying too hard to fit in
Movie directors like David Lynch?
I already know Hitchcock, Gregg Araki and John Carpenter

>Movie directors like David Lynch?
Whoever directed The Room. Both are hacks with decent hair who only retarded meme spouting faggot hipsters pretend to like.
Deepa Mehta, but the sureal aspects, while hinted at throughout the movie, are in the last act.
I suggest her elements movies. Fire is pretty good.
What do you guys thinks of this pimpmentary and about the Hughes brothers?

OK so I need your help /tv/. I plan on buying a Blu ray copy of pic related but I know there's an issue since people have been telling me for years which version to get. Some day Directors Cut, others say this one. Which is the one I should get for the full experience?
>>83938639
Director's Cut. W/e movie the director prefers is the one you probably should too.
>>83938658
kubrick approved the final cut
>>83938639
get the final cut
>>83938692
>theatrical cut with ending supplied by kubrick
or
>planned ending re-added by the director who hated the theatrical release
What did he mean by this?

I don't know, but this series hasn't been good since Dead Man's Chest.
>>83938610
Immaterial can have two meanings. The first is intangible. In this case, ghosts and curses. The second is irrelevant. What Lord Cutler Becket is saying is that the intangible curses of the old world are no longer relevant in our modern bureaucracy and technology driven world. This is also one of the main themes in the film. As Jack says: "the world isn't getting smaller, it just has less in it".
>>83938993
At world's end was the best movie in the series though
So is this any good?
>>83938567
It's very atmospheric and it's kinda good but not great. If you like detective mysteries, you should watch it,but know that they REALLY prolong finding the killer (it takes them 2 seasons)
First season was okay. Not worth wasting your time on though.
season 1-2, same story, slow burn, I enjoyed the twists, some people don't
seasons 3 and 4 have their our story per season, so if you don't enjoy 1-2, skip to 3

What are some movies that you wanted to watch simply because the whole plot written as one sentence sounded interesting?
>Man is trapped inside a coffin
