What a great genre. I like that number 1 but it's second to Five Easy Pieces imo.

>1. Two-Lane Blacktop Monte Hellman, 1971
Good

Should be higher than 2 lane

didn't watch
>4. Detour Edgar G. Ulmer, 1945
didn't watch
>5. Pierrot le Fou Jean-Luc Godard, 1965
Only a tryhard would rank it so high. It has great parts and memorable scenes but the quality isn't consistent. Plus it isn't really a road movie even if it has elements from the genre.

Riveting film but more of a thriller than a road movie even if it happens on a road

Didn't watch
Amazing that classics like Vanishing Point or Easy Rider didn't make the list.
Who wore it better?
Have you ever watched a movie and been so distracted by one of the actors/actresses that you couldn't focus on the movie?
I remember watching Nightmare on Elm Street when it came out, couldn't take my eyes off Amanda Wyss in all of her scenes. She also was looking great in Better Off Dead, though to be honest I only watched it because she was in it. Years later and she's aged really really well, I just wish she'd cut her hair short again.
What about you guys? Got anyone specific you just can't take your eyes off of when they're in a movie?

Has anyone here made a film?
Any advice to someone who doesn't want to fail like you did
I know this is an /r/, but it seem more like a /tv/ question.
Does anyone know the title of the fairly recent film where a woman is abducted by mexican bandits, is branded on the butt, and escapes in the nude by cutting off a lock of her hair?
It's Spanish language I think.
>Knock it off, Julie. I don't need you to tell me how fucking good my coffee is, okay? I'm the one who buys it. I know how good it is. When Bonnie goes shopping she buys SHIT. I buy the gourmet expensive stuff because when I drink it I want to taste it. But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the coffee in my kitchen, it's the dead nigger in my garage.

"You know who lives there? A nigger" is the superior director cameo saying the n-word scene
