A dune buggy and a little toaster?
No, I thought you said ‘I’m alright, Spider’.
Now that the dust has settled, what did Spider mean by this?

Raimi was truly ahead of his time

The site's legit, used this to get into capeshit three weeks early.
Already saw this thanks to Cineworld Unlimited preview, it's pure theater. Above kino.
He deserved the Oscar
Now the first seasons over, thoughts?
Also, what is this totem supposed to represent? Is it all the gods? Having not read the book from the inro sequence I was hype for buddha or ganesha to show up. Do they appear in the books?
What hype gods do we have to look forward to in S2?

>Having not read the book from the inro sequence I was hype for buddha or ganesha to show up. Do they appear in the books?
No.
But my thoughts + predictions are they'll force this to stretch on longer than it has to and ruin any attempt at a genuine, meaty, satisfying finale. I mean they already totally changed up Laura to a main character and have made ancedotes and short passages from the book into whole episodes and reoccurring characters.

is it a terrible thing as long as gaiman is still having the final say on things?
As a writer *clears throat* im sure he has backstories fleshed out for many many more gods that were not in the single novel right? If they were going to tell a longer story, it would be interesting to see more gods done and how they play into whats happening.

I don't know man. The book was cut in the way it was for a reason, with full intent. If there was a similar vision from the outset for the TV show that would be great, but is there? Because this stuff depends on renewal it often feels like they extend and fill-in where they don't need to. I mean:
>Fuller has said that he's inspired by Marvel's cinematic universe, and he's excited at the prospect of telling more stories about some of these characters: "...who knows? In success we may have spin-offs of American Gods that follow lesser gods in greater detail than you might in the main series, but there’s all sorts of potential for this show that we’re very excited about and I hope the audience is as enthusiastic as we are so we can bring those dreams to fruition.”
I don't want an adaption that is mirror-perfect to a book, that's dull, but even taking on the show on its own merits I see it going the way of most good /tv/ where it just ends up going on too fucking long. It's the curse of everything well received that makes money - look at House of Cards.

I was already in a relationship with a crazy bitch. She said she loved it and I pretended I never watched it before. Best sex of my life.
>Paul Allen has mistaken me for this dickhead Marcus Halberstram. It seems logical because Marcus also works at P&P and in fact does the same exact thing I do and he also has a penchant for Valentino suits and Oliver Peoples glasses. Marcus and I even go to the same barber, although I have a slightly better haircut.

Remember back in the 90's when Sunday nights would be made for TV night? What made the. Stop? Was it that when the Sopranos came around they stole all their viewers? They still have them but it seems like only once a year.
>>84137991
Hey, one of the very few TV movies I actually liked. I haven't seen it in years.
Anyone remember life pod?
I guess all the 90's people are probably in bed getting ready to wake up for jobs.
I just finished Farscape after not seeing it since it was first out. Can you suggest me any other sci fi tv shows that are a little different like Farscape?
That show was so fucking good. You might like Lexx but it was even goofier.
Firefly
That's it.

Lexx
It's pretty big on dark humor but very funny
