Which characters are literally you?
For me, it's Chucky. Intelligent, nihilistic, and with a wicked sense of humor.
i guess jason

For me personally, I'd have to say Frank Underwood
Fearless, ruthless, a genius, gets shit done, powerful, fucks people over on a whim, charismatic/charming.
>daydream about the day you become successful
>Invited on normie talk show
>Everyone loves your wit and intelligence
>Everyone claps
Bonus Points if you are also the musical guest
>Daydream about performing obscure song at school
>Everyone loves it
>Cute girls, even a few chads, become fans of the band and ask for recommendations
Bonus Points if song is an anime theme song
>Daydream about story you are writing and the film they will inevitably make
>Work out scene to favorite song
>Imagine the music matching perfectly to the edits
Bonus Points if the song doesn't match the tone and is ironic
>Daydream about finally making movie
>Huge hit
>You are respected and idolized by film buffs
>You still post on /TV/ to keep it real
>/TV/ loves your film too
Bonus points if you shit post your own work and people vigorously defend it as a masterpiece
>/tv/, normies, etc recommend a series
>its boring trash
every fucking time. Is the benchmark for a good series being mind blowingly dull and tedious?

I hate it too, every show is like, "hey you, sit in a chair and look at a screen for hours".
Fuck that shit lmao

Jason fans are those kinds of people that wear trenchcoats, fedoras and smell really bad.

Seems like hes trying to like it on purpose, to get more attention since people are expecting everyone to shit on the movie.
But can't really say, maybe that's his honest opinion and there's no other intentions behind it.
About the points he made, I disagree with all of them, except i'm glad the movie had style, it was fucking atrocious, but at least it was something.

I just finished Lord of the rings two towers and watching return of the king next. So far rewatching these has made me miss the "real" aspect of it -minimal cgi, real sets, real places, real actors playing orcs. It makes the movie age much better when the fight against an orc is a a real person getting hit with a sword. Is this a lost form? Will we ever get a good fantasy film not filled with shit loads of cgi again ?
Watching it reminds me that there was a time when niggers weren't haphazardly shoved into every movie regardless of place and time period.
>>87306838
That's also true. The world feels real, the accents are mostly great and the cast was appropriately placed. There isn't a bunch of obvious "fill ins" for quota purposes
>>87306795
Um LOTR had tons of CGI. Granted it also had tons of practical sets/effects as well.
What you probably mean is most shots didn't fixate on CGI elements, other than Gollum.
So I watched this yesterday, so what did /tv/ think about it, was it Momoakino?
>>87306775
Why did they make the cover a picture of the worst part of her body

2/10, 1 for the hot lead + 1 for Keanu

How does one become one of the Bridge people, I understand they all are /fit/ as fuck, but whats stopping a couple of them ganging up on you, no matter how strong you are they are going to overpower you with numbers
Are there any kinos you guys would recommend about a mid 20s guy suffering a possible midlife crisis realizing his most formative years are behind him and the inevitability of death and the unknown of whats after haunts his every waking thought.

OUT OUT OUT
Give me some movies that are visually beautiful
>>87306752
Speed Racer
>>87307140
Great recommendation, it's in my "fuck you I like it" category, along with Prometheus (which is also visually stunning)
I should've just made this thread with a marvel/DC image so it didn't die.
This really surpassed my expectations. It's very refreshing to see capeshit actors get to show off their acting chops instead of just jumping around in front of a green screen.
Especially Renner, he probably gets the least to work with in the Avengers movies so it was nice to see him get to actually perform. A lot of the important dramatic scenes could have easily fallen flat if a different actor did too much/too little.
What are other movies that take place in very snowy settings? It was comfy and aesthetically pleasing to have drifting snow for many of the scenes, reminded me a bit of how the Bastogne episode of Band of Brothers felt.
>dat mag dump scene
>>87306725
i heard this movie was supposed to tie end sicario and hell or high water but it didnt
>>87306725
Renner played the same badass sharpshooter who always says the right thing and always knows what to do he plays in every movie.
Olson was ok given what she had to work with.
Why are people pretending Deadpool is something new when Jim Carrey did it in the 90's?
>>87306718
They bet on Jim's incredible face stretching abilities in that movie. Deadpool just imitates teenagers' culture for some reason. Maybe brain damage, I don't know.
Jim Carrey wasn't violent
Comics are a different matter
People here like The Mask because there wasn't the concept of "us vs. the normies" making them deny they like The Mask. If it came out now, they'd probably get treated the same by /tv/.
>>87307547
You need to watch it again, the first thing he does is beat the shit out of the mechanics that screwed him over.
this is pretty fun. what else is fun?

Why does /tv/ do this?

I've kinda got a reason to complain

I've been to a Hoyts and had to pay $26.50AU. This is why i don't feel bad for torrenting
