This is the Spider-man we’ve all been waiting for. This film is going to surprise a lot of people, it's a great time and the action sequences are among the best in capemovies history. Spidey fans will be absolutely ECSTATIC, it's undoubtedly the best Spidey film to date, and yes it’s way better than Wonder Woman.
Tracking is currently at $90M-$108M. It will most likely err closer to the latter end of estimates and more than likely exceed them with the good buzz generated from the movie so far. The social media on this thing is an absolute BEAST and the weekend-to-weekend holds will be amazing.

But anyway, I stand by my word. The action is badass, Holland is perfect, it's probably the best capeflick of all time. Maybe, just maybe, the drama is a little lacking, but the great cast and the modern tone make this a must-see.

Cameron never made it to the casting phase aside from mentioned he would've liked having Dicaprio as Spider-Man.
One of the producers did suggest Schwarzenegger as Doc Ock but the character wasn't even in Cameron's script.

It sucks that Edgar Wright had his project ripped away from him but it really didn't make sense for it to come out and not be part of the MCU so I sympathize with marvel on this one and I liked the movie as is. So now that season 12 is finished, and with howertons departure for that shitty show, what is the general consensus on this?
To me, it's my my current #1 show. I love the comedy, the actors' performances, the stories, the character development, I tank it all just blends together to make a satisfying show. I also believe that unlike the simpsons, it hasn't jumped the shark, and even the newest season is just as funny as the other seasons.
Even though it has been confirmed for a thirteenth and fourteenth season, it has been delayed for a year due to individual projects. I think that's fair, but I hate to be deprived of my favourite show for too long.
So, what are your opinions, /tv/?
