I'm too lazy to make one for my last 9 films so here's my favourites
whats top left? also is personal shopper any good? it got a lot of attention when it was released and now it's even on criterion lol
>>85104026
top left is The Falling. I thought Personal Shopper was alright, not as good as I was hoping though.

The Monarch and his wife are the best characters on this show.
prove me wrong.

This show has become the most Hipster thing imaginable.
>>85102093
He is probably my favorite too. Liked his season 6 storyline the most out of those episodes. I think Brock and Rusty have the best lines though, and the best banter.
21 is the most overrated.

That title goes to Life is Strange.
Some may call it a game, but it's more of a tv movie.
>Constantly played the fat stupid guy in movies and TV
>Was extremely sensitive and didn't like being laughed at
>Started doing a shit ton of cocaine and heroin to numb the pain and deal with everything
>Wanted to branch out into more serious acting but got typecast
>Gained a dangerous amount of weight
>Last hours of his life was spent with a prostitute
>Pleaded with her not to leave him before he OD'd on smack
He was too pure for this world
Before the edgy meme parade shows up, It is really tragic. Especially when you hear his close friends tell stories about him and stuff.
Don't do drugs.
>it's okay because he was bullied into doing drugs
My first watch of Angel.
"This goes all the way through...to the other side. So I figure...there's a bloke somewhere around...New Zealand...standing on a bridge like this one...looking down back at us. All the way down. There's a hole in the world. Feels like we ought to have known."
Why is this giving me such feels? I don't even get it. God damn you James Masters, you could make a shopping list sound profound.
Also I knew either Fred or Wesley were dead the second they got together.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE FILM OF THE YEAR?! ARE YOU READY FOR NOLAN TO WIN BEST DIRECTOR AT THE OSCARS?!
>>85096849
Dunkino confirmed. It's 97% now.
Here we have a prime example of the kind of mental spastic r/flicks goon that worships the trash Nolan, Villeneuve and Fincher make.
I cannot be more clear about this: you are an enemy of the medium. You are actively destroying Cinema. True Cinema isn't some good-times & sunshine hugbox, it is a punch in the gut, a gob of spit aimed at your face, a black man fucking your wife.
True Cinema is pain. It tears apart your soul and leaves you to pick up the pieces and patch it back together with bleeding fingers.
DISHONEST FILM MAKING
Nothing fucking happened in this movie. Where the fuck was the war? Where were the battle scenes at? The whole fucking movie was just Apes crying and sad music. How the fuck did Reeves sit down and watch war films and walk away with this? This should've been the Logan of this franchise. Fucking hell.
It was really good.
War film does not mean one battle for 2 hours, the characters were all well developed. The action was good, the music was good, the CGI is the best any film has ever been, and the shots were amazing.
It was MONKINO, and a great end to the trilogy.
>>85097495
There were literally two battle moments which were less than 5 minutes each and at the beginning and the end. It's a complete bait and switch. It also doesn't help you can see all of the plot points from a mile away.
What memorable characters are there? The series is built off of Caesar and maybe Maurice, no one else.
Fuck off to /Reddit/
The war is the battle for survival :')

Anyone want to make the arguments for keeping /tv/ silent?

Why do some people think that there's hidden symbols and deeper meaning in his movies? Are they just too bored?
Yes.
His trademarks are pacing and subtlety. Eyes Wide Shut is my favorite movie to analyze. The Shining is more cryptic.
>>85111888
why can't you just watch the movie? why do you have to look for things that aren't' there?

Friendly reminder that it's been confirmed that Eddie Vedder recorded a song that plays during the Twin Peaks finale. It confirms Agent Cooper never gets his mind back. (Pic is evil Cooper)

OP HAS SPOKEN! SPOKEN!
Let me lay it out for you. Eddie Vedder and David Lynch are friends. He says he's making Twin Peaks and wants a song for it. Lynch gives an idea of what the lyrics should be about, just like his directing style, and Eddie Vedder does it. The only reason we heard is is because he played the song live and for some Jack White thing, but it's definitely for Twin Peaks and I'm leaning towards Cooper never getting his mind back.
How kino is this going to be?
Can someone give me a run down of the Room.
Like, I've seen it and it was stupid funny, but is that it?

Tommy is a cinematic genius

Its the Citizen Kane of bad movies
Just finished rewatching episode 7 and besides the OT pandering, the only thing that really bothered me was Rey seemingly becoming a jedi in the course of a day.
Do people not notice this bullshit?
Beating Kylo (even if he was hit by Chewie's bowcaster which usually sends guys flying) was so forced.
Thoughts?
they shoe horned one good scene in and it made no fucking sense
>>85109412
>Do people not notice this bullshit?
No m8 you're the first one
>Beating Kylo (even if he was hit by Chewie's bowcaster which usually sends guys flying) was so forced.
You're also forgot that Kylo tilted himself by killing his father in cold blood, which essentially slashed his power instead of doubling it.
>>85108699
It's better on a second watch
Also good for what it is
>dude it's all one shot lmao
>dude we shot in the cold lmao
Is there a bigger hack in all of cinema?
Good if you aren't hyped up in memes
