Looks like ChinoKino
This is the future of cinema. Chinese studios are both buying western production companies and likely have government funding to produce films.
And it won't be the well shot melodramatic tragedies that are typically the real gems of Chinese cinema, it'll be these shitty comedies. Imagine if Hollywood was run by Rob Schneider.
>Evander Holyfield as George Foreman
top kek I bet they wanted Foreman but they couldn't say which one was and Evander went for it for the money
Glad to see unoriginal pieces of shit like this are getting fucking wrecked in the box office.
Hollywood needs to WAKE THE FUCK UP and realize we dont want Prequels and Remakes and Sequels anymore
Movie was boring and predictable as fuck. I kept dozing off and I was wide awake when I got there
>domestic
Just wait until foreign sum rolls in. Asia and Africa will eat this movie up.
It's just a movie about monkeys. What the fuck did you expect?
>>85021762
>Just wait until foreign sum rolls in. Asia and Africa will eat this movie up.
Movie doesn't do that well and production company gets less of a share
>Just wait until it opens in Mongolia, they will deff be seeing it!
Let's say Spider-Man actually existed around the time the Twin Towers fell (9/11).
Would the plane have hit? How many lives would he have saved?
Personally I think he would have only saved the people trapped in the towers after the plane had hit.
He would be able to stop the plane, but he can't do much about the bombs.
Jet fuel can't melt spider webs.

There's a comic dealing with that and spiderman was out of town or something, and he comes back to find the twin towers destroyed. Doctor Doom is also there crying for whatever retarded reason
There are dozens if not hundreds of morons reacting to a Disney promo clip. Of course none of them will criticize it objectively, it's only about screaming and shilling for Disney. WHy are they doing this?
You dont get marketing, huh?
>>85020868
money from clicks
are you retarded?
>>85020935
But most of these videos barely make any views
>mcu getting less and less money

>who's ready for a decade of revisionist history and american propaganda?
I suppose a little more wouldn't do much harm.

>>85020586
Yes it is.
>>85021393
>no
correct, its not good, its fucking GREAT
we will never see effects or world building this great for a long time, fuck GOT
Was there ever a worse time for comedy than 2000-now? What caused this almost two decade drought? Is there an end in sight?
(((Their))) plans are moving into the final stages, they aren't even pretending anymore.
Comedy as a format just doesn't work anymore, after you get the obvious shit out of the way. Real humour only works in spontaneous moments with actual people, not recorded and regurgitated shit. Standup is stagnating for the same reason. Improv shows are somewhat different, but good moments don't happen very often.
There's a couple of good movies in that time period, I like Shaun of the dead, hot fuzz, zack and miri, this Is the end and knocked up.
I think studios are less likely to punt on comedy movies because comedy is so subjective and some comedy ages like milk so there'll be no long-tail on their investment 10 years down the line
Is Jam and Sam's morning show more, or less "normie" than Howard Stern's?

How is a morning zoo show /tv/?
>only four 20 minute episodes
>two filler episodes
I mean I want to like it but theres close to nothing there.
>>85020297
You have to admit that the backgrounds, animation, and character design were tip top.
>>85020337
The animation was low quality and the art inconsistent. It actually wasn't the most pleasing thing to look at.
>>85020297
i feel the same but it's a decent enough 'prologue' if we get any more in the future.
This film aged so badly. Saw it recently after seeing interstellar and was like this shit suckkksssss
>>85020004
Were you born after 1999?...I thought so anon.

In honor of thrones coming back, wanted to start a thread. I'm sure there's multiple threads(didn't check), but this one is in dedication of the one true king. Hopefully he shows up tonight in the premier...
Post your best boys
Director of Deadpool owns the CGI studio only reason the movie got made for such a low budget
Lower budget = higher creativity
>>85019552
The people making it cared about the movie beyond how much it would sell for them.
It was a legitimate passion project for Ryan Reynolds.
When studio execs give the reigns over to talented people who love the subject matter, then you're almost always going to get something interesting from it.
