might pic it up tho, I liked Gilgun in Misfits, funny dude
I really hope you watched the original Swedish Kino and not the American bastardization of it.
>>85182157
>not the American bastardization of it.
It's widely considered better than the original
I watched both. It's been years though so I might have to rewatch it soon.

Justin Bieber is widely considered as a good singer.

Riki is waiting for your answer anons
Still waiting boyz
Ok, in the meantime he will get some pussy, not like you fags
How come I barely see any decent actors over 40 anymore?
The ability to act should improve with age and yet everyone is pushing mid-late 20s fuccbois and fapbaits.
>>85181712
Jared Leto is 45.
>>85181712
Movies are just shitty in general these days. When an old school actor does accept work in a modern film, it usually turns out to be embarrassing.Look at how low Deniro has sunk these days.
>>85181712
You need to watch more british movies bruv.
Why is hollywood pushing big eyebrows on us?
Does every actress needs to have a pair of fuzzy caterpillars on her face?
>>85181676
I like them. You can go to a Mexican market it you want to see drawn on lines instead of eyebrows.
>>85181676
Cara's eyebrows are awesome though. I like big eyebrows though, they add charm to people's faces
>>85181676
Trimmed bushy eyebrows beat bald, pencil drawn eyebrows any day
Was it Kino?

>>85181639
Her abs were kino.

Books are akin to music not film. You hear the words, you don't see them. How are you going to film prose?
Books are nerd ass shit gtfo here
>>85181706
have you ever read a book? its literally all visualization. this same cormac mccarthy wrote no country for old men and that was a damn fine movie.
Can we talk about Kevin Smith and his shirt?
Hes a big guy but he cant think it really hides the fat, he has a lot of loyalty to this shirt for a washed up hack.
If he took it off would he die? he actually married a couple wearing it. he wears it to funerals, i bet he wears it to bed.
why would you not take off a shirt before throwing yourself in bed?
>>85181381
>why would you not take off a shirt before throwing yourself in bed?
Because I don't want to
>>85181381
Uh, you don't get to hug Christina Aguilera.
>>85181381
I don't like sleeping shirtless.
There has never been a black actor in Wes Anderson's films, not even one. Why?
>>85181338
They'd clash with the pastels

I've spent the last few weeks watching the first two seasons in preparation for this, and boy am I disappointed. Season 3 (at least the first episode) feels like a cheap CSI episode.
>tasteless gore, nudity and swearing
>boring, generic unimaginative dialogue
>barely any music in the whole episode
>everyone acting silent and mysterious
>urban setting and zero comfiness
I don't get it, is it really the same people working on this? I'm even afraid to keep watching, think I'd be better off keeping the memory of the first two seasons.
i loved the first two seasons, gave the first episode of the reunion a watch and didn't go back
pleb alert am I right guys
lmo fucking pleb kill yourself unironically
>tfw too pleb to enjoy kino
^you
>>85181088
Ohhh dear, you were doing so well only to getLynchedat the final hurdle
What's /tv/'s thoughts on TCM? I think they have a pretty great selection of movies, and they're one of the only cable channels left dedicated to showing older lesser known films.
TCM is great. I remember they showed Freaks and other silent films when I was a kid. They had a whole weekend dedicated to Charlie Chaplin and talked about his impact too and showed his movies

Love this channel. I'm an absolute pleb when it comes to movies I have watched so I can always find something I've never seen/heard of on there.
I miss comfy king Robert Osborne.
Gonna start with Raumpatrouille Orion / Space Patrol Orion, a German scifi classic from 1966. Had nice ideas, good sfx & sets for its time (same era as Star Trek TOS), awesome soundtrack. Would really like to see a proper remake of that.
>In the series, nations no longer exist and Earth is united. Flying saucers, such as spaceship Orion, are flown by humans, whilst the aliens fly fighter jet-like aircraft. The titular ship of the series title, "Spaceship Orion", (German: "Raumschiff Orion") is portrayed as being a fast space cruiser (German: Schneller Raumkreuzer), the newest starship in mankind's fleet and the fastest spacecraft ever created by humans.
>The show tells the story of Commander Cliff Allister McLane (Dietmar Schönherr), an Earth starship captain and his loyal crew. He is Orion's commander in the developing war against an alien race called the Frogs. He is notoriously defiant towards his superiors.

I'm going to post some additional pics of crew & ship as well as some of the set & sfx creations and other related stuff in this thread.
Which classic SciFi series / movies would you like to see reborn?
This is one of the original models of the Orion btw. They built 3 models in different sizes (between 30cm & 1,6m), made out of wood, aluminum & plexiglas.
I win

>"Well anon, do you have something to say?"
>Cold, lifeless, sloppy flicks with Lucas tier dialogue and endless self satisfied exposition
You lose! You get nothing! Good day, sir!

Based Bigelow.
Maiwenn le Besco got 2 French Cesars in 2012 for Polisse and 2016 for Mon Roi, both are brilliant. Polisse follows the cops of a child protection unit in Paris, it's gritty and good cinema. Mon Roi is the trajectory of a couple with Vincent Cassel.
