TASM2 wasn't so much a flop, it was just more of a wake up call that Spider-Man was no longer a billion dollar property. Technically no Spider-Man movie has ever his that mark, but with 3D and inflation, it should have done well in a post Avengers market. Homecoming is shaping up to be a disaster though.

None of the Spider-Man movies have broken a billion dollars. Spidey's claim to fame has always been its strong merchandise sales which eclipses everything else.

Obi Wan is standing on solid ground, Anakin is on a moving platform. Obi Wan can just sit there while Anakin has to come to him, and when he does, he'll be on lower ground. Anakin tries to get around this by spinning over Obi Wan, landing in a position of higher ground. But from Obi Wan's point of view he still has the high ground because Anakin hasn't touched the ground yet at all.

First off I am by no means an internet detective but I have thoroughly studied your image and noticed some odd things.

1. look cloesly at obi wans feet and youwill notice they are not oriented the correct way. this indicates that the image may be counterfeit

2. It is clear that obi wan is not staring at anakin from that vantage point. Unless obi wan is autistic he would belooking at anakin in the eye rather than staring at the ground.

3. It took a keen eye but I noticed the obi wans lightsaber is diffferent than anakins. If they indeed had the same crystal in the hilt the blades should be of equal height and width which they are not.

4. After some intense googling I managed to locate a similar picture that shows a much different vantage point of obi wan.

I can only conclude that you moved obi wan on your own to make it seem like he didnt have the high ground

Just saw it today.

Really didn't like it. I had a lot of difficulty saying it but it was just a bad movie. I don't know why Nolan made it more complex than it should have been with different character arcs (that didn't go anywhere). Feels like just a generic war movie with explosions for the kiddies, barely talks about Dunkirk's importance.

Nice visuals, though.

You know, I agree with you there, the non-linear format was just confusing, it had clustered action sequences instead of distributing the tension and action better, and with that it suffered from a weird pace.

The importance was mostly revealed in the last five minutes, when the 300K were saved and all.. which doesn't serve the moment in history enough, imo.

To me it isn't a generic war movie, but it isn't the masterpiece to tack on to Nolan's other works like Interstellar, TDKR/TDK, or even Inception..

Best film I've seen in a long time. I welled up and nearly had tears.
I can understand that Americans probably don't like it as much as anyone of British decent because it isn't about them and is completely void of all the usual tacky American war stuff.
The spitfire footage is fucking awesome. The sound is fucking awesome.
Don't remember seeing a single black man or any Jewish victimization narrative. Think there were 2 woman in the whole film.

No, it's musical theatre, and I'm pretty sure they have a deal where they won't release the film of it until it stops running on stage, which in view of its stage success, probably means that it won't be out for a long time.
