What's your favorite movie monster?
12 years a slave
From the absolute classic "Creature from the Haunted Sea"
the elephant man
>All about diversity
>Plays in a big universe
>Main characters are all human except for Chewbacca, Yoda and the Droids
Explain this shit. Star Trek has plenty of alien races which actually matter while Star Wars is all about humans.Yes I am ignoring Ahsoka Tano (for example) because this is about the films, not the cartoons or books. Still you can feel free to enlighten me how important aliens are outside of the films.
Star Trek is intellectual engaging science fiction
Star Wars is space fantasy for children

Children can't deal with alien races?
Fuck /tv/. I thought you kids love Star Wars. Can't even discuss this on here. Hate this place. Fuck you all.
Hello /tv/
Blockbusters bore me to death, more "decent" and "dramatic" movies seems to me cringey af, older arthouse cinema is a chore to watch.
I was wondering, if you could suggest me any contemporary, less known (producing B/C-grade films, with borderline amateur actors and production) companies producing movies that don't adhere to any particular genre (i.e. I can imagine there is a company that just put out zombie/giant-shark movies, not interested in that) and are watchable, unintentionally cringey, not-pandering and just an old-school fun to watch with brain turned off?
(as for a genre, I don't really care if it is action, romance, drama, avant-garde or whatever)
watch the Puppet Master series up to the fifth entry
incredibly fun slasher series that was surprisingly decent and enjoyable
everything after 5 is cancer tho

>Puppet Master
thanks, looks ok
(Still waiting for a contemporary recc)
The Killjoy movies. The first two ghetto horror movies, 3 is a normal horror movie sit in China, 4 and 5 are straight up comedies. It's about s killer clown that gets summoned to kill people.
>character is home alone
>doesn't talk to himself, imagining he's a character from a story/show he created in his head
immersion ruined
>pic unrelated

>no frog picture
you're not going to get responses that way
saged

For sure this thing was god-awful. I finally have the distinct pleasure to see someone worse than even Uwe Boll, the king of cheese, but from what I hear JJ Abrams is not related to Boll. The Force Awakens is the equivalent of taking 150 million dollars, wiping your bottom with it and rubbing it all over a silver screen, that's pretty much what I saw anyway. It makes me laugh me to think of how many people in the midst of this movie being made never once questioned what the hell this guy was doing. And of course they were right. This is a cash cow. All in all, if you want to make movies that show no shame in its rip off super capability, go see this thing that for some reason sycophants claim is a movie.
Any bro watch this? Is it good?
>>84971982
Yes I did. I love Emily Dickinson. It does a good job of showing how she was a real person, and a fun animated one at that, and not the crazy cat lady meme from English class.
>>84971982
Yes, it's a masterpiece. Davies is the man.
I've never seen it
It's shit
>Movies keep getting bet-
who was in the wrong here?

>>84971890

>>84971890

Just rewatched six feet under.
It was my second time seeing it start to finish, is there a better written series out there?. The season five finale has got to have one of the best endings ever.

But that brand of humor was never good anon...

Not much to understand in Bio-Dome other than it's the worst movie Kylie Minogue was ever in, and that's really REALLY saying something
