Who was in the wrong here?

Chuck, but not Sneed.

You are. Stop ruining Simpsons threads
Most movies I've seen lately that try to be something more than the mainstream end up falling into this other trap of being super visually delicate. I'm looking for something more... punk, I guess? Opening to Enter the Void feels like a good example of what I'm looking for, something aggressive but still outside the cliche. Nothing wrong with delicate, just not what I'm looking for right now.
Any recommendations?
her is soft ass romantic drama, so not that
>>87383012
yeah was using that as an example of the visually delicate direction I'm trying to avoid. looks good just not where I'm at.
probably just going to binge music videos/commericals
Tetsuo the Iron Man is a feature length music video
So what did /tv/ think of Highgarden and Casterly Rock??

Was Maris ever shown? What did she look like?
Based on the various descriptions of Maris and the fact that Niles used a skinny greyhound as a substitute when he was divorcing her, I can imagine her as being a very frail, pale, and malnourished white woman.
>>87382822
this was the only glimpse we were ever offered of her
>>87382907
I think the real joke is Maris is to Lilith as Niles is to Frasier.
Pickle Rick stars in your favorite movie. What is it?
No Country for Old Pickles
Been waitin a while for it
Should I binge watch CYE?
Is it good?

>best girl

tip top zozzle
was Laura hidden by good, only to have Evil (Judy) manipulate Cooper into finding Laura and bringing her back?
take the red pill:
>no set design, feels empty and lifeless
>no interesting ideas for storylines and generally bad writing
>relies on gimmicks only instead
>those are unoriginal or just bad, unfortunately ("fuck you, albert", glove, andy and lucy, coordinates, riddles, ...)
>bad acting (Bell, Lynch, Horse, Robertson, Dern, ...)
>dull characters (one-dimensional at best)
>storylines and characters are introduced for no purpose
>everything is supposed to weirdly connect and make sense
>shot in digital in a way that doesn't compensate for the technology's disadvantages (looks bad)
>roadhouse scenes (out of place, badly shot, the songs, the bands, the extras, ...)
>student-tier storytelling/editing (characters are shown walking up complete sets of stairs)
>stretched out needlessly, long takes have no particular effect
>obviously delusional and/or inexperienced fanbase perceiving it as particularly meaningful, complex or "deep"
>can't compare to the original series that doesn't have those problems (coherent/complex and beautiful sets, costumes and make-up/well shot/well acted/well written/magnificent multi-dimensional characters and character relations, music, storylines and gimmicks/creates a unique athmosphere as a result, changing the world of television forever whereas "the return" neither manages to do something established really good nor to invent something new)
>extended pitch black scenes because of a lack of a competent cinematographer
>audio issues with microphone static left unaddressed because of poor sound design
>extremely poor editing with magically disappearing extras and production staff accidentally walking into frame
>somehow the best thing in tv history
>>87382494
The original wasn't well acted. And it had its fair share of bad storylines.
>>87382472
Another question. Prior to the finale, had any real companies had product placement? Maersk and Valero were in the finale. Was Laura in our reality?

Fucking this, I love this movie. Way better than the overrated Lawrence of Arabia.
>Niles: Look Frasier, he 'took the bait'. This is actually rather rewarding in its own way!
>Frasier: Quiet Niles, I'm not resting until I've responded to every last one of these poorly written insults.
