>"Both of you were born to be kings...except for you, Loki. You don't have a chance. I already picked Thor. You're gonna get this desolate wasteland full of dying people that I already destroyed. I gonna encourage a sibling rivalry anyway, though by vaguing about my using you as a political pawn. I'm such a good dad.
Why does Anthony Hopkins look like a dwarf there?
Hi, does anyone know how I can watch French TV for free without having to buy a subscription service? I'm an Australian looking for a way to watch French TV to help my listening comprehension... Thanks.
What is /tv/'s opinion on this film?
You do watch foreign films, right?
Did you know that Jack Nance played the doctor in the 1988 remake of The Blob, /tv/?
Did you know that Jack Nance was the most patrician character in Blue Velvet?

I had the pleasure of seeing Blue Velvet in the theater with an audience some months ago. The comic relief of Nance's performance as Lackey #2/3 (Paul) really does make the scene, Nance gets to fuck with our hero that much more. It becomes clearer as the audience nervously laughs around this point.
I'M PAUL...

huh. i didn't know David Lynch directed that.
If you don't love Krteček, you are a terrible human being
> the cartoon won itself an enormous popularity in many Central European countries, as well as India, China, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Russia, Iraq and Japan.

I watched it as a kid. My favourite episode is when they stick sausages in car exhausts.

What does /tv/ think of this film? Personally I thought it was an enjoyable flick. I'd watch this movie again; it's a nice piece of cinema.

Me on the right?
What is /tv/'s consensus thus far on the B5 vs. DS9 debate?
Babylon 5 is objectively better than Deep Space 9. The storyline of B5 is more epic, more intense and more exciting. It's not really a competition, all DS9 has going for it is a nonthreatening, neutered Star Trek setting and characters, but that's actually baggage holding it down.
Plus, you know, DS9 copied B5 anyway.m
Babylon 5 has the benefit of being JMS baby and having a planned out story that hit all the right notes along the way and made good use of foreshadowing. The personal stories of its characters were amazing and seeing how they changed and grew was probably the best part.
DS9 had a lot of the same characterization but less of the unified metaplot since it was tied to the larger Trek universe. It did allow them the opportunity to broaden and flesh out the otherwise static Trek canon and make the Alpha Quadrant a more vibrant place.
Fun fact.
In the original Planet of the Apes, Nova's purpose was to mate with Taylor. She was basically a sex slave owned by Apes!
Matt Reeves trilogy isn't related to the originals
Inb4 chimp pimp who traffics human ass.
