Why can't live action comedy shows be as funny as animated ones?
>>85150962
adding cartoon humor to a movie or tv show ends up with shit like baby's day out and scott pilgrim vs the world
>>85150962
The jokes can be a lot faster
Look at all the Disney/Nick live action shows and how shitty those are, they have a lot of the same slapstick over-the-top shit that cartoons do and they're absolutely awful
>>85151053
I liked both movies
How old do you feel ?
>>85150910
>this came out over a decade ago
I'm old enough to have known this was an awful movie walking out the theater.
Feel old yet?

Best horror film of the year.
gtfo reddit
good film and all, but it didn't come out this year, and it isn't horror
He literally did nothing wrong.
WeWuzKnights aside, this was kino and it's a bummer there won't be more.
Am I the only person that saw this movie?
Fuck the reviews, I thought that "for what it was" it was actually a good flick

Yeah, I think marketing was the biggest failure. I didn't even know about it until the stories about how big of a failure it's opening weekend was came out.
People seem to love it. It has a bad RT score because it's from Warner Brothers instead of Disney I guess.
>>85151099
Definitely the marketing. I had literally never heard of it until a friend told me he had free tickets for some medieval movie
Find a flaw.
Also,is it safe to say that Baby Driver is the best film of 2017 so far?

Tremors.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Is this movie kino or just pretentious shit for stoners?
>>85150719
The latter, tbqh. Jodorowasky uses symbolism, but lacks any ability to make it tie together because he is legitimately insane.
>>85150719
its literal garbage in film form, it has no purpose, the world would be a better place if this didnt exist, i was forced to watch this years ago
pretentious. the director admitted he was throwing weird shit at a wall at times to confuse viewers. people that suck this movie's dick are even more insufferable.
stuff up this alley that delivers:
hard to be a god
eden log
beyond the black rainbow
What are some spooky TV shows like Unsolved Mysteries?

Loved this shit as a kid but watching it now on Amazon, it seems kinda corny and not believable.
I recommend pic related, its really good, eerie vibe to it

what show/movie would be "/x/: the show/movie"?
hello tv, i need help finding this indie sci fi movie which, in my opinion was very good and worth a rewatch, this is what i remember about it:
its set in an alternate universe? (i dont exactly remember if its like this but its not really important) where instead of 1 earth there are 2, and they are in very close proximity to each other, so close in fact that if 2 people on each planet climb to the top of a mountain, they could have a conversation. that is what 2 people did in the beginning scene of the movie, a man and a woman, who seem to be in love, i should mention that it is impossible from 1 being of a planet to go to the other planet and stay on there, they always seem to be gravitationally drawn to the planet they were born on(i know pretty shitty sci fi explanation) the man on his planet ignores this, and tosses a rope to the woman, and she beings to climb, but apparently interplanetary relationships seem to be frowned upon in at least the "top planet" (i should mention that one planet is stacked on the other and this creates an interplanetary caste system) and the authorities are dispatched, this causes the man to drop the rope and the woman, who receives a blow to the head.
this is all that i remember from the movie, aside from their being this special metal that nullifies the gravity rule of the movie. will you help me find this movie /tv/?

I've been looking for an animated episode of this with the original Nicktoons cast from the Nickelodeon cable launch. it was 1979, or close to it. Doug hadn't given birth to his younger sister Judy yet, but as we all know, he would within days of the episode. the games were green screen as was the style at the time. one was Sonic, that much I remember. there might have been a Resident Evil too, and of course Call of Duty.
Doug, as most celebrity guests were, was awful at the games. he constantly died and then would look at the camera and give a "Dear Journal" speech. somehow. he came in second to Ginger Foutley, which I was surprised to see considering she had killed herself a few years ago. beating a pregnant Doug was still an accomplishment, as Judy was also given a controller and their scores counted together.
the animated Nick Arcades were hard to come by especially since most betamax players from that time were damaged in the nuclear war with the Soviet Union. still, I distinctly remember this episode and hope to see it again. I think Doug could have gotten more points in Sonic if he had used the spin dash.
Fuck you
Hey check out this pickle Rick

since he lost, he was deleted from the show. as in, completely deleted. it was like when a film strip catches on fire. I was scared that he would be deleted from his own show as well, but luckily there were different animators and he did not disappear from Doug like he did Nick Arcade. it was quite haunting though, and I can still hear his screams when I close my eyes.
What the fuck was his problem? This movie pissed me off.
Ikr. Bob was just so nice and polite.
Great movie. Watched this in high school psychology class and other kinos like 12 Angry Men and the one where Robin Williams is a doctor and everyone has that weird zombie disease.
