Does anybody here actually watch tv?

No I'm from Reddit and I post blacked.com images all day
Only Simpsons season 11
Now that the dust has settled, can we all agree that this season was still better entertainment than madmen or similar?
GoT has never been good and you'll all look back in ten years and be embarrassed that you watched it
>>87372206
No way hombre, season 1-4 will always be Greatest Of All Time, and the later seasons are still better TV than most other shit that gets produced.

Not bait, just fact. Name 3 shows beside Sopranos that come even close
What does someone like Tyrion think about capital punishment for things like defecting from the Night's Watch? In fact, at the start of the series when everyone thinks the worst threat beyond the Wall is the Wildlings, how can they even justify death as a reasonable punishment for defecting? The whole system is stupid.
Most of the Wall is a glorified prison camp where criminals go to get out of society's way. Think of it as the medieval fantasy equivalent of picking up trash along the freeway. If one of them tried escaping they'd likely be punished too. Of course, the most simple punishment at the time was lopping a head off. It makes sense if you think about it at all.

No one wants to serve in the night's watch
If they took deserters lightly everyone would just run off

>re-watching this
>music comes on during the credits
Hold me /tv/
>can't unsee the gas canisters on the chariot
I saw this on television the other day and was surprised to see that it has developed the patina that we notice on older movies. What causes this phenomenon? Is the resolution of new movies better? It looks grainy like it could be from the 70's or older, and mind you I was watching in HD. It's actually a cool aesthetic, but I'm sure they didn't intend for it originally. I remember when Gladiator came out and it seemed like the peak of modern filmmaking, especially in a visual sense. So why does it look like the actual film they used has aged?

Now that the dust has settled. Can we admire this highly underrated KINO without perma-virgin weebs sperging out on us?
Just watched this kino. Is there any other movies with a similar 'feel'?
Should I even bother with the remake?
I think she did a fine job as Jean Grey, just needs to work on her accent.
female pattern baldness thread?
Who cares, she's hot
When I watched that scene of Robert's entourage arriving in GoT episode 1 and saw her towering over all her siblings I immediately came
ithink her pusy did a fine job, just needs to work on the face
Whats the better show The Shield or The Wire?
For me I enjoyed The Shield better
The Shield is one of the very few shows to have a perfect ending.
A lot of shows compromise when wrapping things up, like Breaking Bad, or just go to shit, like Dexter.
The Shield was as gritty and in your face as it had always been, and they translated that so well to how they wrapped things up.

the ending of the shield was telepgraphed in the first episode. Making everything between the first episode and the last episode nothing but progressively stupider filler.

I just got the free trial of Starz to watch The Girlfriend Experience and they put the Starz logo in the corner. Why do they do this? No other premium network does this in fucking 2017. It feels cheap, seems like it prevents them from being taken as seriously as a network like HBO.
Showtime does it intermittently, the logo will disappear and reappear near the beginning and end of episodes.

You mean if you watch it through cable? It didn't when I streamed Twin Peaks.

I signed up for HBO, decided to watch Rushmore, and was horrified to see that it was pan and scanned. Pan and scanned in the current year. I couldn't believe it. Do the other premiums pull that shit?
