???
There was only like 50 lines of dialogue spoken
>>85310014
And not a single one intelligible
Nolan, being the hack that he is, thought it would be smart drown out the sound of dialogue with engines or explosions or loud ticking. On top of that Tom Hardy mumbles every word and can't emote.
So...

>Kubrick didn't live to see Christopher Nolan continue his legacy
It's sad isn't it?
>>85309948
I will finish what you have started
I know this is probably bait but I do unironically get Kubrick vibes when watching Nolan's films. I don't even know why, I'm not particularly good at articulating what I mean when I talk about films.
>>85310025
I never made the connection between Kubric and Nolan before, but now that I think about it captivation (far more than other directors) applies to the majority their work
>The risk for the company is more one of notoriety. If the film is a big flop, we’ll lose credibility for making these sorts of films. The risk is not financial, but rather human.
so how was this funded exactly?
The Europeans will eat the losses.

'Of course Luc, let us throw some money your way, we'll probably have to convince Liam Neeson to do 3 more Taken films to compensate for the loss' said the Europacorp director after a few coke and ether binges.

Childhood is when you idolise Mark. Adulthood is when you realise Super Hans makes more sense.
>idolising Mark, ever
you fucking what, you muppet?!
>>85309899
I think that was the whole point. The show was about 2 different types of losers, but they were still massive losers. You had Super Hans the whole series as bigger fuck up than them, and as a way for them to feel superior to somebody.
Then Super Hans gets married, gets a good job and fixes himself up. And yet, Mark and Jez don't improve themselves and keep being massive losers to the very end. In the end you understand that they were always bigger losers and will always be bigger losers than Super Hans.
Who in the fuck would idolize mark?
So I just finished watching this, I was or I am a little intoxicated with beer but whatever, it was alright honestly, it wasn't great or bad but it was okay
I do think FlyLo has lots of potential to grow as a filmmaker, I also liked the David Firth voice cameos and there's an animation that looks like something Cool 3D World would make, which makes me wonder if they participated in the movie or it was all FlyLo basically copying that style
It wasn't as gross as I was expecting it to be, I can see people getting grossed out but I guess I'm desensitized
Anyone here has seen it?
>>85309858
it appears to be random try hard scenes based on the trailer
I saw Flying Lotus at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
i'm about to smoke up and watch it
IT'S BEEN A LONG ROAD
GETTING FROM THERE TO HERE
IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME
BUT MY TIME IS FINALLY NEAR
AND I WILL SEE MY DREAM COME ALIVE AT LAST
I WILL TOUCH THE SKY
AND THEY'RE NOT GONNA HOLD ME DOWN NO MORE
NO, THEY'RE NOT GONNA CHANGE MY MIND
'CAUSE I'VE GOT FAITH OF THE HEART
GOING WHERE MY HEART WILL TAKE ME
I'VE GOT FAITH TO BELIEVE
I CAN DO ANYTHING
I'VE GOT STRENGTH OF THE SOUL
NO ONE'S GONNA BEND OR BREAK ME
I CAN REACH ANY STAR
I'VE GOT FAITH
I'VE GOT FAITH, FAITH OF THE HEART

What is some comic book kino anons? So far I really liked Guardians of the Galaxy and Vol. 2. That's about it for me, everything else just feels like superhero retreads.
