Why can't Americans make a TV show as good as this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpQzYywTiO4
They have no subtlety.
>Rantes! Just take these drugs and you'll be normal again and stop being moved to great emotion by classical music!
Who knew that the most damning indictment of the pharmaceutical-industrial complex came from an Argentine sci-fi film from the 80's?
Under rated classic ?
Havent seen it but if its a "honey i shrunk the kids"-type of movie its probably good. Will add it to my watchlist
>>85327462
Not as good as "honey I shrunk the kids" but a light hearted family comedy from the 90s
Probably would get FRESH rating if it came out today
What did /tv/ think of Jarhead? I thought it was quite well received but it seems to have got relatively mixed reviews. I rather enjoyed it, thought it was a different kind of war movie.
>>85326619
I'd rather watch Generation Kill.
I need to watch it again. When I first saw it I went into it expecting a typical war movie, began to resent it, then by the end of it I was fascinated by the physiological stuff it delved into. Probably would be able to appreciate what it was going for a lot more now.
>>85326619
It was fine. The tension was good without there being actual intense battle or loss. You expected it and it never really came, which was a good thing. One thing I never understood though was the guy that got killed in basic training by a live round. I think he lifted his head and was shot while crawling through barbed wire? Anyway, they don't fucking do that. Why was that in the movie.
So I just finished the Shawshank redemption and it got me thinking, how do film crews get the rights to shoot in prisons? Do they just move all the prisoners somewhere else? How much would that even cost? Who would they even talk to in order to make that happen?
What about highways? I mean, how would you even start with those?
>>85326578
are you fucking retarded? how about using google? just wikipedia that shit. are you fucking serious?
Do you guys watch anything over than the latest blockbuster? Do you even like film?
