What are some cult classic movies from the 70s, 80s, 90s?
Like Footloose, Dirty dancing, Grease, Saturday night fever.
I realise these all are dance movies, but hope you get what i mean.
Not necessarily good movies, but movies that just have something about them
Who's seen this movie? It's supposed to be a true story, but some people are saying it's bullshit:
http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2017/03/21/whats-the-real-story-behind-a-gay-man-who-turned-into-an-ex-gay-evangelist/
James Franco sure loves being in gay movies.

So the guy quit his church, hates evangelicals and swings both ways? I don't think WND readers are going to like knowing about that.
What does /tv/ think of the Cornetto trilogy? Personally I'd say:
Shaun of the Dead > The World's End > Hot Fuzz, but they're all decent.
Shaun: 9/10
Hot Fuzz: 8.5/10
The World's End: 8/10
Great trilogy.
slightly related but does anyone know of any other directors with a visual style like Edgar Wright?

World's end and Fred were fucking awful
So can anyone give a summary of the events and thoughts, that ultimately led to this fucking horror of a series finale? I saw something about Charlie Sheen having ideas of making some closure somehow? Has Chuck Lorre given an explanation as to why he would rather give a big fat fuck you to all his viewers just to get back at Charlie, instead of having some integrity and actually making a proper ending for a (for the first couple of seasons) fairly good show?
Also, do you know of any other shows that had a more disappointing finale?

What an entitled little cunt you are, OP. Check your fucking privilege and be more appreciative.

>my wife has an inner ear infection
*laugh track*
Uhh Kramer you don't even have a wife...
It was because he was pretending to be a doctor
It was because Jerry was pretending to be married and he said how starting sentences with "my wife" was so great and then Kramer was trying it with "My wife has an inner ear infection." Seriously, how the hell do you people not understand simple jokes?

Why do people like this trash again?
they mistook Michael J. Fox's freebase cocaine addiction for youthful enthusiasm. Plus it had a cool car and was PG.
>HAHA THUS GUY ASKS FOR MCFLY AND MARTY THINKS HE'S TALKING TO HIM BUT HE'S ACTUALLY TALKING TO HIS FUTURE/PAST FAMILY MEMEBER

>After the death of Blockbuster, I lost almost all interest in movies and TV
>The 25 or so big screen movies that would show a year were mostly boring, bland, over-produced drivel and I deeply missed traversing the hallowed halls of the Video Rental, uncovering gem after unheard of gem
>Move on to vidya and music because the depth of those fandoms was rewarding to my sense of exploration
>Fast forward to last year
>I see a Godzilla collection for 5 bucks in Wally World
>Pick that shit up because I always liked Godzilla
>Watch that shit
>Mmmm, that's good shit
>This rekindles my cinematic passion, and I start watching all sorts of B-Films
>Eventually branching into all forms lf low-budget, exploitation and indie schlock
I can't stop, /tv/. I hate whatever's trending, but I love B and C grade cinema and TV. The less a critic would rate it, the higher I would hold it. I've once again become a cinephile, but it's for the kind of pure, distilled cheese MST3K won't even touch.
The sad part is if I wanna talk niche music, there's a ton of people to talk about it on /mu/. Same with comics and /co/, anime and /a/, vidya and /v/. But I come to /tv/ and you're all looking like the front page of Rotten Tomatoes.
So my question is: has /tv/ always been this pleb?
Oh sorry, I fprgot the /tv/ secret handshake:
"U big"
"4 yoooooo"
Ok now respond /tv/ I did the thing I'm one of you now.

Only if you check my 5.
