ITT: Movies that brainlets will NEVER get

It was all done to get Cobb to wake up
>>85580814
When it came out, I read and watched a lot people saying ''it's not for mainstream audience or that ''it's hard to get at the first time'' and I'm really just depressed about that. I mean, sure, you'll get more out of it after a re-watch, but it's not like the plot's too complicated for a first time viewer. It's interesting, yet so so simple.
On a side-note, I can't believe there isn't at least a TV show in the same vein. Or is there?
>>85581440
I mean the main gist is not that hard to get but it is definitely "deeper" than most films today (or most mainstream films throughout cinema's history) and there are some hints and pieces it is hard to pick up.
Movies like these are hard to come by.
what were producers thinking?
> we'll never get the original ending with Dexter in the electric chair
Why live?
You cant
>has a kickass origin
>literally a planet destroying space dragon
>they change and retcons his origins.
That was stupid. Remake better be a Space Dragon.

They will probably (and I hope they do) make his origins mysterious, they could hint at things like space but the whole thing is mysterious, they literally just found him in an ice sheet and formed a quarantine around him, they probably have no idea where he came from

Nice nod to his second movie. I see what they did there.
can someone tell me what this is
AMC?

channel's name
Alienator
Anyone know what year this movie is supposed to take place in?
I like the Conjuring movies and Annabelle.
The only problem I have with Annabelle and the other upcoming prequels (Origins, The Nun, and The Crooked Man) are that they're just unnecessary.
All Annabelle tells us is how the doll got possessed and how the couple from the first movie got it.
The reason for this is that it's already explained what Annabelle and Valak are: they're demons.
Really, there's nowhere to go from there. Everyone knows what a demon is and what it does, we don't need four movies explaining it.
Just make Conjuring 3 already.

Is nothing sacred anymore?
>It's going to 'sting', Muad'Dib!
I mean, seriously?
>Every breath you take, every move you make I'll be watching you.

>what is thy bidding master
>bring me gooooold
>>85580227
That's the only good explanation but afair the director denied, otherwise makes no sense that Sidious couldn't find this guy since he pretty much made using the force illegal to anyone but him and vader
Does anyone else here think this movie is a masterpiece?
Why does a Neo-nazi have a Jewish Carpenter at his bedside?
Was this just the Director's stab at the Christian Right?
