Both suck. Valerian is /ourmovie/.
HA HA FUCK TRUMP
Of course fedora-tipping redditors can't grasp multi-layered ironic satire when they see it. I just watched it and I was literally in shock by how one thing can be so kíno. It wasn't meant to be a comedy; it wasn't meant to be a kids movie. It was supposed to be watched as an allegory for the modern world's blind acceptance of anything that's presented as being cool just for its own sake. The very act of watching the movie was it telling you "See? You like to use emojis everyday and so does everyone around you so you have to watch this because you're part of the grotesque machine that is modern pop culture". The screen was laughing at me and I enjoyed every moment of it. Of course Redditor McAtheists won't ever understand that, their small "le epic upboat XD" brains could never allow them to pull their heads out of their asses and really appreciate the art that is Le Filmé Emojie. Fuck reddit, man. The movie was great.
This is both the greatest sitcom of all time and there's nothing you can do about it.

That's one thing you fucking idiot.

I liked this way better than In the Loop and I feel like ItL is overrated. You can't really appreciate this kind of writing in a 2 hour movie. Plus it feels like a poor man's substitute for The Thick of It.
Dunkirk isn't just a 'great' movie. It's not just 'slightly better than the best movie you've seen in the last few years'.
It's Chariots of Fire level amazing. I am confident it will go down as one of the greatest films of the last 50 years and be the new benchmark, and a reference point, for film greatness for perhaps the next 50 years.
There isn't a single scene that goes on for too long or feels like filler, there's no unnecessary dialogue or long cliched personal stories about 'ere's my sweethear' back 'ome, look here's a picture, queue awkward dialogue about how they're sure 'they'll be home again soon' only to be shot through the back a few minutes later, falling to the ground in slow-motion picture still in hand'.
Even with the scale of the situation, the boats, the machinery, everything still feels of a scale that's human, personal, tangible - you don't feel overwhelmed, it's done in a way that you can process it and care about each one of them.
It is as perfect a film as I've ever seen.
all the effort put into this bait
gone to waste

Hey guys what your opinion on big bang theory

I love it because it's funny but intelligent too.
Inb4 all the buttblasted redditors that don't understand all the science jokes say it's bad.
I enjoy it. Don't care what anyone says.
It's great.
>He """likes""" film
>He hasn't worked on a single one
Explain yourself /tv/
Also, film experience stories thread
Edited a short film in one day. It was fun. The cast and crew were supportive. Turned it in to the VFX person, and she fucked up the look. Awful wobbly in-post camera stabilizations and forced black bars for "Cinema feel". At least the colourgrade looked decent.

Go to Netflix and check out season 11, episode 15
of Cheers for prime Carrie in a wedding dress. HOT.
This is unironically one of the best TV shows of the last ten years but gets no love because of its fucking title and anti-woman bias
Can we all just celebrate the fact that POC's are getting more roles in Hollywood?
POC's are a huge factor in box office too, if this trend continues, domestic numbers will rise.
LOL
Do you think Gavin has future in Hollywood movies/HBO show, or is YouTube and Vice enough for him...?
What are the best movies starring women?
