Pic related. Critical and commercial flop in the US, very famous movie in Brazil due to endless reruns during afternoon movie sessions.

Idk about statistics and numbers, but over here we have yearly reruns of all seven Police Academy movies. And I've never met a person who lives here and doesn't know the series.

For some reason I think we're going to get a bad ending. Coop isn't coming back, and Bad Coop is going to win.

Lynch's movies always have happy endings. Twin Peaks would have had a satisfying end the first time around if it hadn't gotten canceled.
>>
>>85760012
Oh I don't know, Mullholand Drive wasn't very happy.

I'd rather have a Warhammer 40k movie first.
99.99% chances it would suck balls like no movies has ever done before but I'd still take it.

Jesus christ I want a sequel so bad

What a disgrace to the franchise
The homoerotic undertones were so forced and unneeded
The characters were so stupid and made no sense, like legit retarded even more than Life
Life actually did the Alien concept better than this movie
And they ruined the possibility of expanding the engineer race unless this movie becomes non-canon
Fuck this whole movie

Hard to say, this shot looks like the units are 11 deep. OPs shows about 12 wide.
So thats 132 per unit .

I count roughly 90 'units' so thats just short of 12k (assuming equal sizes).
Obviously some assumptions and rounding but probably in the right ballpark.

>Christopher Nolan's new movie gets high marks from one of the world's foremost experts on the evacuation of Dunkirk.

>GQ: So let's get into it: what did you think of the movie?

>Michael Korda: I was very, very impressed by the film, I have to say. I suppose it would be possible, if I really put my mind to it, to nitpick about certain things. But they really would be such small things. I did not find that there were many things that were wrong. At no point did I say, "Well, that just looks totally wrong and doesn't correspond to anything that happened."

>How does Dunkirk shape up against other war movies?

>[Christopher Nolan] clearly did not want to do a slightly artificial docudrama like Saving Private Ryan. So he doesn't set up a fictional story, there's no central character or narrative to it, and I think that was a very courageous and the correct decision to make.

>batman has such pathetic willpower he completely crumbles when he hears his dead mother's name

it's because he saw superman's humanity in that moment. superman was vulnerable and afraid, terrified about the imminent loss of his mother. Batman had become the gunman that killed his own parents but he was able to stop himself before he pulled the trigger.

them having the same name was only relevant insofar as it connected the dots for batman

You guys just can't get over the fact that dunkirk was boring did it suck? No but I literally was falling asleep by the end of the movie none of your buzzwords is gonna change the fact that you're in the minority. Considering I have a higher IQ than you [and most people on this board] don't bother trying to refute me.
