Anyone seen this film yet?
Any other films about the 1992 LA riots?
WE
WUZ
LA Riots are fascinating to me. The footage is great compared to all the "MUH TRAYVON" riots we have now mostly because not everyone had cameras in their pocket and it was more about stealing free shit than any bullshit BLM puppetmaster agenda these kids are now huffing. People would wave at someone with a giant VHS camera or just ignore it rather than play to it or dramatize their situation.
Also pic related are my fucking heroes.
What was his problem?
JAMAL GINSBURG
He was fucking Jewish and Black.
hes a fucking moolie what else
Don't usually watch much TV, does this show have much SJW/liberal propaganda?
It really turns me off. I know the new spinoff is shit.
Just watch the pilot, the only really good part of it.
The rest of the show is terrible.
>>85954683
when you see a community of feeling, emotionally rounded caring and sharing people.. that lasts for a week before the Rictocracy turns up and the community gets eaten alive within days.. it's hard to say the show has an SJW agenda.
it's like every time we find a community that the SJWs would approve of, they all die horribly. that has to be some kind of message.
>>85954683
Honestly surprised there isnt much of it in the show. Most of the minority characters get killed off pretty quickly
Any gender shennanigans gets subverted by the overall plot and becomes a part of the backdrop.
Tbh, much of the show feels like it just doesnt have time for that sort of shit. Dont get me wrong, its nothing but character drama set amidst a zombie apoc. But mostly generic relationship drama and how everyone deals with the effects of the apoc and surviving. Also lots of moral dilemmas as you pretty much have to be cutthroat in that environment, and softies in the show have trouble with it.
Why haven't they made a tv series out of this?
>>85954586
it's all copyright issues. That's why you only get "fan-made games" and so on.
>>85954641
that pisses me off t b h
>>85954718
We just need a sneaky producer and writer to come up with a rip-off series. If we stop caring about the "brand loyalty" we can get the content we want.
Is this show actually worth watching?
>>85954481
Yes, the story is a solid one but it's really heavy subject matter to binge watch. Take that for what it's worth.
Friendly reminder that Nate did NOTHING wrong
>>85954481
you have to watch all of it. and then watch the last episode carefully, and you see his photography-obsessed sister on her deathbed.. blind eyes staring about, seeing nothing.. and you too will spend the rest of your existence thinking "fuck, i hope i don't die like that."
You have 10 seconds to explain why you aren't on *good* private trackers.
i'm on mtv, tehc, and x264
don't know anyone on cabal trackers

What makes a film iconic?
I can't really point it out.
I just know that if a film is remembered 20 years after its release, you can say it made a cultural impact on the world and that makes it iconic.
Love and care, perfect line delivery, great shot compensation.
Darth Vader's "I am your father" line is iconic because James Earl Jones said it perfectly and probably would never be able to replicate it.

Has any show ever minimized & basically dropped their main character the way Orange Is The New Black has?
I can't think of a single show. It would be like if the sopranos shifted away from tony soprano. Crazy

They might keep in the orgy scene lads....
What the fuck is wrong with gen z
We should still speculate that it won't be in the movie but the kids humping each other like this without 2nd thought does put some concern on if it will or will not be
Are kids this clever when it comes to jokes now?
>everyone hates this guy in SPR
er he's a journalist and translator, not a soldier, he LITERALLY did nothing wrong!
>>85952993
He was LITERALLY a fucking pussy, who we're expected to believe turned a corner by shooting an unarmed prisoner
He literally is a soldier though. Using the real definition of literally.
>>85953870
Miller saw that he was a pussy the second he met him. Why take him on a a dangerous mission then?
The poor guy wasn't there to fight, he was a desk worker. Miller literally scared this guy for life though his retardation. Some men aren't cut out for combat and that's that.
