Would you have entered the room?
of course, why not?
what's the point of traversing that hellbent landscape, almost dying every minute, if you don't enter the room?
Yes. I probably would've regretted my decision whatever it was afterwards, but life is full of regret anyway and fear of regret shouldn't prevent you from one-time omnipotence.
Tark only made the story like that to make living life look better than it is and not turn the film into destructive escapism, still though Solaris made the "danger of wishes" far better, the narrative in Stalker doesn't make much sense.
should I watch this movie?
What does /tv/ think of Zooey Deschanel?
>>86143171

A black guy's sweaty face abruptly POPS on screen, it pans to the right with large orchestral tones. It forces a gravitas that STARWARS is back.

Why are there so many Scientologists in Hollywood?
Because it preys on people who are too rich to have any remaining purpose in life.

they target young actors because they've typically moved to cali
thus they often have few friends and family to pull them out when they realise they're in a cult
Is Jonathan Nolan's adaptation of Isaac Asimov's Foundation still happening ?
No news since a long time. Is he too busy with Westworld ?

How would one go about making a Dark Souls movie?
Cast?
What story of the games would you pick up?
What game fits best? Bloodborne?
>>86142411
>Demon's Souls
>Latria
>Low dialogue film, only one conversation with an inmate. Have it be about some menial bullshit.
>Exploring and the occasional quick fight with a piece of shit guy
>Spooky, steampunk set pieces
>Protagonist dies, alone
Basically a mid 90's anime movie.
I wouldn't.
Alternatively: minimalistic dialogue, slow pacing, long shots of landscapes, slow but meticously choreographed fights, almost silent protagonist, a mute colour scheme, a soundtrack that creates a slow sense of dread consisting kostly of ambient noises... basically: you know how the stalker.games took the Tarkovsky movie and turned it into a series of action games? I'm gonna take those action games and turn them into something a bit like a Tarkovsky movie.
Which one to film: DaS 1, I guess. It doesn't require much in the way of context. Bloodborne is a pretty good answer too but that kind of gothic horror movie aesthetic would probably look a bit silly in a movie.
Cast: Not that important, most human characters will be in heavy armor and most nonhuman ones will be either CGI or people in heavy make-up. Might as well just hire some stuntmen to do the action scenes and dub what little dialogue there is with professional voice actors. Would be nice to have some shakespearean actors in there too, like Stewart or McKellen.

>gothic horror movie aesthetic would look silly in a movie
God, it's catching up to her isn't it.
The Wall isn't a myth, OP.
