>You can't compare a [genre] movie to a [same genre]-[subgenre] movie
>They are two totally different things!

Go ahead give me some example.

How about we make gentle love instead?

Only if you like Ex-Aid.
What wash hish endgame?
to find out why someone would shoot a man, before throwing him out of a plane.
Dr Sansa, I'm CIA

Calm down, you must have taken something.
Relax, take a deep breath. That, now tell me:
what's your name?
Cunt
where do you come from?
Cunt
Your mother's name?
Cunt
what do you want?
Cunt
in the movie it seems like literally every man falls foe amy hard. I get how some people would smash but it seems like every goodlooking and sucessful dude wants to settle down with her
>>87022155
she was pretty unlikable in this. The rest of the cast is really good though
>>87022155
That's usually how it works dude. Men marry down, women marry up
>>87022155
It's almost like it's fictional and they can just make the plot say whatever they want even though it wouldn't work like that in real life.
Why is this guy so boring now?
>>87022152
He's become the intellectual equivalent of "Nothing personal kid"
>>87022152
best scene
Whats next for her career?

Pegging her husband
D&D are dead, HBO hired you in their places for Season 8, what do you do?

not enough promotion i guess.
after possibly oscar nominations and maybe wins its gonna be re-release with buzz.
So, box office is not this movie's first concern
Really poorly advertised. Detroit as a name doesn't give me much, and I think they overestimated the audiences knowledge of the event it depicts.
These "based on a true story" movies only really hit if they appeal to dads (Spielberg and Eastwood's dramas, Dunkirk) or to people who want an uplifting story (Hidden Figures and every black biopic of the last 2-4 years, British period films). Not a brutal story like this
ITT we post as if season 1 of GoT just ended.
I can't wait to see how the portray Stannis in season 2. DnD seems to be doing a good job so far
MY EYES ARE GETTIN WEARY
MY BACK IS GETTING TIGHT
Why not take a nap?
DOUG MA MAN
I'M SCHMAHT!!
I've always wondered how Vito and the rest of the family would've regarded Fredo if he was legit? He had nothing to do with the family business or organized crime, but worked very hard to become assimilated as an Italian-American. Even Anglicizing his name as Fred and working as an accountant, investment banker or whatnot.
Am I the only person who prefers 2 over 1?
>>87022315
Nope. A lot of people enjoy Part 2. I really enjoy young Vito and his rise to power.

It bugs me that every time Instagram says something is comedy. It's always some dumb youtuber.
It really makes you think.
I think we can all agree the comfiest movies are about the end of the world.
What kind of apocalyptic or post apocalyptic movies do you suggest /tv/?
