This worked great in the Thailand thread so I figured I'd play a game with you folks

Rules:
1) No reverse image search
2) One location per post
3) Thailand photos ONLY
4) Must give a little background if it's not an obvious photo

#1 is extremely easy
First day in Thailand, our host family recommended we go here. I should have been suspicious of their advice when they told us to only eat "safe foods" such as McDonalds or Burger King (I'm not kidding). Anyways, they suggested "a must-see" in the city and we went. Tourist hell awaited us in our naivite.

Nope. We arrived by plane in a major airport a day before this picture was taken
>>
>>955562
Very few places in Thailand actually make people (especially men) wear long pants at a temple. The grand Palace is in BKK and has white walls like that.
>>
>>955667
Since I think I am correct, I will post my own.
An extremely colorful temple in what is considered Northern Thailand.
The temple is multiple stories high, has multiple buildings and a very large Buddha statue
Not a province many tourists hit, but it is a hit for Thais.

Did you shit your pants and then shit in your suitcase and ruin the rest of your clothes so you had to go buy new pants from a street vendor selling kids pajamas? Because that's the only excuse I can think of for wearing those horrendous pants.

No, it's much further SE but still considered the North. The temple is covered in broken pottery and glass. Emphasis on the last one.
>>955728
Somewhere I have a ton of pictures of the building of this place. I took shots of it in 2005, 06, 07 ,08, 12, and 14. This was not my shot, I was the anon to ID it.
I will post another pic. One of the most famous temple paintings in all of Thailand.

Known for it's temperature inversion it is called the Fog Sea. This is also in the North as I spent a lot of time riding around up there. It is a mountain but doesn't have the word "Doi" in its name.
>>
One last on until others join in. This province is one of the few that have dinosaur bones. It is in the same province as the shot above. It is known for it's lake.
>>
>>955807
I'm OP and I didn't realize how out of my league I am... I don't know any of these :(
>>
>>955807
If it's got dinosaurs and it's up North, it must be Phayao. There are a lot more dinosaur fossils in the Northeast--I recommend a swing by Phu Wiang in Khon Kaen on your next visit if you like that sort of thing.
>>
>>955800
Is it sukhothai?
>>

Oh, and that's Phu Langka, Phayao. You may already know that Doi is the Northern Thai word for Phu, which is mountain.
>>

>>955670

>>955838 Nope, a bit more southern. There is a pic from Sukhothai in the ones i posted though.
>>955839
Yup, and I have a bad habit of mixing Northern into my speech. I mentioned it because it is in the North and to narrow it down.
