For people who've taken visa on arrival for Vietnam - it asks for address and family members (on instructions on how to fill out it says list immediate family members), I have neither of these, do you think there will be a problem if I just leave blank?

Print out a hotel reservation from booking.com or whatever site, cancel it right out if necessary.
There, you have an address and a contact in Vietnam now.
It's better to have your paperworks neat and full, commie officials like that.

It's my home address I don't have, and they for some reason need, along with family members?

How do you not know this.

just make it up, write whatever your last address was in your home country and a friend or made up persons name and number. no one will ever check.

? I have no address or family?
>>1290419
You have.
>>1290422
No immediate family which it asks for, and no permanent address.

>no permanent address
Just put your last address, it's close enough. It's not like they're sending agents to check.
Just make up a family member or put one that's a bit further away. An uncle or something would be fine.

are you serious make it up
I live in Vietnam and I go for a visa run every 3 months. They dont care what you fill out. Just skip it. If you are worried write down the name of a random hostel. Btw dont forgett 25 usd cash for the stamping fee.
