I'm 22, white guy from South Africa. So basically I'm tired of all the crap happening in my country and I've wanted to leave for quite a while. Got a job abroad in Shanghai and move there next month. Any tips for what I should prepare for or things I need to know for being completely independent for the first time in my life? And if anyone is familiar with Shanghai, what are some places I should check out?

Maybe graduate middle school while youre at it, even the biggest retards I know are aware of Afrikaners
Congratulations on gettiing a job and leaving South Africa. You're lucky it's Shanghai, since there is a lot more people on average who speak some English.
There are three things you should be able to do to be considered a human being by Chinese people.
>know how to eat with chopsticks
>know a few simple phrases at least
>know how to squat (Chinese squat not Slav squat, there's a difference)
Can't gice you much advise on Shanghai specifically, only been there for a few days, but it's one of the most Westernized cities in China.
Get a VPN before you go so you can get around the internet restrictions.

You go to youtube and subsribe to serpentZA and watch all the videos where he actually talks about China instead of his motorbike because he did what you are going to do.

You'd be surprised how ignorant some people are, plenty of people have asked me "How can you be from South Africa? You're not black."
