Why is it so expensive?
Cost of public transport is high and accommodation prices skyrocket in cities
I can't find a room under 12 euro anywhere near Madrid
I'm not even sure what to buy from supermarkets to keep food costs sensible
going madrid-toledo-seville-???

>europoors flock to the beaches
>spaniards from big cities take breaks in countryside
>burgers come to tour europe
>big entry port for sudaca travelers
>many students around the world come to learn spanish
It's a popular tourist destination anon.

You want to find rooms in one of the most popular tourist countries in the world for less that 12 ebpo per night? That's just not a reasonable expectation, m8, especially in the summer. Half of northern Europe is practically in Spain right now.

lel
In these months Spain is as crowded as France or Italy, if not less
If you were looking for something cheaper, you chose the wrong Iberian country, try portugal next time
Go buy things in Mercadona or Lidl, prices will be cheaper than in other supermarkets

thanks for the advice
I guess I'l get used to the prices, cooking for myself is great and if I had the choice I'd do it everywhere in the world
drinking tap water is cool as well
three days ago I was literally in the middle of an asian jungle, where a liter of petrol was 70c, meals were 50c and I could just walk up to random people and buy their clothes/daughters/livestock on the spot with pocket change
the transport costs in spain though, fuck.

Where in the world were you

northern laos
it's actually fairly populated, but at the same time quiet rugged and undeveloped.
like you could usually get most things, but it often meant going between towns and locals wouldn't have a hope of affording shit
and even in remote areas you would still get the occasional tourist on a motobike trip, that just never equated to any development.
people still didn't have basic education or medicine, were deeply impoverished; tribal religion was widespread and everyone went around with machetes
most people only do a loop through vientian, vang vien, luang prabang and a boat to north thailand.
don't get me wrong it's a good time; but it's nowhere near the real laos
did you think spain was a third world country?

Absolutely dull, over-exposed and the natives are ungrateful cunts, considering that tourism is the only means by which they can feed themselves.

There are no rooms for that price anywhere in the EU, even in Romania. 20 euro is the minimum in Europe.
