Imagine the loons call to go with the pic. Paradise.

Theoretically none, greeks are pretty nice lads. But you'll get a lot further with the locals if you learn a bit, they appreciate the effort, especially from English-speaking nationals.

Is Athens as fucked as they say? Should I stick to islands and the countryside?
Thanks for the advice by the way.
>>1262100
Yeah, greek cities are pretty grotty to be honest, I've never been to Athens, though. Greek islands and countryside is the nicest in the world
(after England)

this, Gozo is fucking comfy. If I retire, I could imagine living a comfy life there
my gf's little cunt
>>1262398
I think it was "most relaxing" and not "moist relaxing"
>>1262100
Yeah stick to the islands m8 like rhodos or kos, so nice and relaxing
I want to go to some picturesque little town in Northern Ireland (like Enniskillen here), park myself in a pub all week, and chat with locals until it's time to go home. Someday...

Do you talk to people when you go to bars at home? Why would you do it abroad? Travel is not a cure for social anxiety
>>1262060
I second this. Muskoka is the shit
>>1263022
Not him, but there's something kind of liberating about talking with people in a foreign country. I'm noticibly more sociable when I'm abroad.
>>1262985
DONT go to Kos mate. It's a massive Illegal immigrant camp and full of tourists, so won't feel Greek at all.

Here's my list so far:
>Ithaca
>Skyros
>Crete
>Corfu
>Rhodos
>Delphi
Anything to add/get rid of?
My hope now is to travel them for about 5 weeks

Very nice lad, I presume you'll be boating from one to the other?
Western Crete is one of my favourite places on earth, it pains me that I'll have to wait until next year to go again.

I think that different things relax different people but for me the Swiss, Austrian, and German Alps/countryside are the most comfy places. I have only been in Germany and Austria so I can't really speak for Switzerland but they are fantastic. Everyone is nice and quite, plus you are surrounded by a beautiful landscape. There are a bunch of lakes in the Alps like Eibsee, Alpsee, Forggensee, etc. that are mindblowingly beautiful. The water is crystal blue and placid, it's amazing. Fuck I want to go back.

I agree, especially during the fall.
