IST-CPT last week (coming at the end of the peak sunny season in South Africa), and the cabin was about 20% full. This sometimes happen if you fly in low season. I've found myself in a row to myself flying to and around the US in winter.

Low season...to be fair, even during nearly full flights I had rows to myself, just cause I keep on changing seats even after check in, the systems cannot keep up, they have to give me the best remaining seat at the gate while apologizing for the double booked seat.
Flight attendant once asked me if I was fine if someone sat on one of the seats, I just said 'no'
