Denmarkian here, I have 5 vacation days I need to spend before May.
Now here's the thing, because of reasons I have a very sparse Budget. (250-350 EUR)
I have a couple of different ideas in mind, but I would love any input:
-Camping and Hiking in Sweden/Norway
Pros
>Got all the /out/ gear I need
>Sleeping is free
Cons
>Cold
-Visit the Baltic Capitals
Pros
>Plenty of things to do during the day
>two way flight trip is 20 EUR
>Cute grills and nightclubs
Cons
>Might not make it on 250 EUR
-Visit Poland or Slovenia
Pros
>Cheaper than Baltics
>more couchsuring hits than Baltics
Cons
>Don't have a car
>Don't Speak Slav
Thoughts?
>Denmarkian
>250€
>Vacation days, implying emlpoyment
How the fuck are you this poor?
Also, show me a return flight ticket to a baltic capital from Copenhagen that costs 20 euros.

350 Euro, thats not a budget thats just your transport costs.
>Don't Speak Slav
Not really a con in case of Slovenia. Everybody speaks some English here.

You probably can get those prices if you luck out with dates and early bookings. I'm not sure if and how much Wizz/Ryan vary their prices based on airport of origin, but from here where I am (Poland) return flights to various cities in Europe for below 25 EUR pop up fairly often.

I'll be going to Japan for 2 weeks in march/april
This will be a short cheap getaway

Transport in certain cities and lodging with airbnb is surprisingly cheap

That might be interesting, never been to Slovenia, how's it like in Early Spring?

This exactly, I've gone to london for 10 Eur and Stockholm for 6 EUR

A lot of people in bigger cities of Poland speaks at least english.

yep I think that 16-30 y/old people are statistically the most chance to communicate in English
but also happens that they can understand you but will hesitate to answer you because dont want to make grammar mistakes
Pollack here
300-350 EUR will be more than fine for a week in Poland.
Warsaw, Cracow, Wrocław are place to go. Maybe some coastal places (especially Sopot), but as you know, Baltic is cold as fuck.
Most of young (16-30 yo) people in Poland speak English, girls like foreigners.
Good party places, kind of cheap alcohol, drugs are standard European places.
Depends what you want to do, but 350EUR with some cheap flights, should provide you with a great 5 days in Poland. Nothing super marvellous, like a 5 stars downtown hotel, but centrally located hostel, plenty of alcohol and maybe a girl or two should be fine.
You won't need a car as the bus/rail transport between cities is also pretty cheap and quite regular, so you can visit maybe 2-3 cities (5 days is not that much for any place in the World).
Slovenia is also pretty dope, I've been there for a weekend.
