What are your favorite travel movies?
Pic related is one of my all time comfiest.
Recently watched The Beach and found it to be a bit strange, the acting wasn't that good and it just didn't make much sense.
also post shows if you'd rather talk about them

Up in the Air
Does Catch Me If You Can count?

It's amazing. The thing that bothered me about that it is that I wanted to know where the places were that were being presented.

Eat Pray Love of course
The Turin Horse
(About what happens if you do not travel.)
I really liked the Secret life of Walter Mitty, especially for the Iceland scenery porn

every time I have a flight (which is not often) I check whether I can combine things so that I'll travel by plane, train and automobile during one day. Not once has this happened, but in a few days the stars have lines up in my favor
Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong
A fun little flick that people sort of missed was Hector and the Search for Happiness.
Nice to watch, travel things happen. Recommend it for a quick watch.

not really about traveling but Vicky Christina Barcelona
no idea why I liked this movie. I am a dude who watches sports and action movies, goes to the gym, etc. for some reason I was like yo I need to go to Barcelona after watching this. no explanation why that movie was so good
Eurotrip, Hostel, Taken
Gotta love western perception of east europe.
Me and my brother have a game going on. He's been leading for a long time though, because he once managed to persuade some belgians they're just opening the first movie theater in our city because we've just gotten electricity.

Gotta love the classics like ''oh, you're not part of russia?'' or ''you've got your own language? that's so weeeeiiirrddd...''.
Or the looks on their faces when you speak clear english with an american accent or the looks on their faces when you tell them you're not dirt fucking poor and eating potatoes all day.

Are my fellow citizens really this dumb? I know its a meme, but is it reality?
Madagascar Journeys

Up in the air. I saw this when I was flying a lot for work and whoring for frequent flyer miles to hit my target. I met a few fellow business travellers that were doimg the same and I saw elements of myself and others I'd met in this movie.

You are a country of 350 million, so there's all kinds of americans...
But yeah, the average, 3 week europe city hopping american tourists are pretty dumb. Nice though.
I watched a movie on Netfix last week called The Way. It is more of a coming to grips with life, but has some travelling aspects to it. Not awesome, but worth the time in my opinion.
