Im a mexican traveling to Victoria, BC for the next semester, any advice?
I've never stayed in a place for so long.
Don't know what to tell you anon, just have fun! Victoria is a very laid back place so I can't see you not getting along with anyone (unless you're autist). Are you staying with a host family or on your own?

Im staying with a host family. To be honest I'm kind of scared that my english will be too shitty. Anyways thanks, are you from Victoria?

Victoria local here. Don't worry anon, I can tell that your English is much better than many international students that I know. Lots of (mostly Chinese) students make do with very poor English, but yours seems fine.
Victoria is a rather small, boring place. My main piece of advice would be to take the time to visit places outside Victoria. Tofino, Vancouver, etc.
What school? Winter semester starting in January?
Victoria is probably the least Canadian city in terms of weather. Good chance the only snow you'll see is on the Olympic mountains on the background of your pic.
Mexican food is a bit of a meme there now, at least five mexican restaurants in downtown.
Victoria people are polite but not too quick to make friends. It's good you have a host family.
Other boards get upset at it, but reddit.com/r/victoriabc might be the biggest sub per capita. Says something about the city. Unless you're asking something specific here, it's probably your best resource for information.

Op here, thanks for the link man :)
And I don´t know what school until later on the week, if the post is still alive I´ll update. And yes, winter semester. I really love mexican food but Im open to try everything so I don´t really care if there is a lot of mexican food there. And well yeah, I´m shy at first so I guess that makes the whole "making friends" thing a little worse then lol.
